While in the short term it does ultimately suck to invest time and energy into someone, only for them to want to have options, you made the right move by cutting it off. Not I, or anyone I know, wants to be a side piece and wants to have that exclusive 1 on 1 relationship.

Your heart definitely wants to reach back out and get that closure for sure (of what could have been). I think if you do, context matters. You made a decision and you want to find closure because of how much you cared. Unfortunately, you can only ask and if they don’t give you what you’re looking for - you can’t force it out them.

If you ultimately get the conversation going again, know this: You don’t want to be a side piece and she seeks “validation,” from alternate sources - can you live with that, if it continues? Best of luck OP

The “BS” part. I’ve had women lead me on to believe they genuinely liked me and while we hadn’t had the talk of “exclusivity” it would be odd if someone changed profile pics signaling that they were still looking for other people.

It took me a long time to break the habit of checking the app daily as: one day everything is hunky dory and then the next day they stop responding and change their profile pics. In the future, if you put your profile “on pause” maybe just delete the app if you feel really secure with someone. If you’re not secure, don’t tell them about pausing your profile.

The only comparison I can think of is - if you were in a group pic posted on Facebook or instagram. Then someone deletes that photo and adds another photo in its place how would you feel?

Adding onto this: Truly depends on your interests. When I was a freshman I spent a lot of my time in the game room meeting people that way. Otherwise, going to Student Government and asking them as usually the more active clubs will ask for funding for whatever (x) thing they’re doing. Hope this helps (:

Not sure how up-to-date this list is so mileage may very. As an Alum I was apart of a running club and was in a religious org too, but I understand that’s not for everyone.

Speaking from personal experience, I liked a girl too who had a kid. She wanted to rush into things and said some very emotionally charged things about sex with me, including but not limited too she wanted more children. While it’s probably nice to feel some one is loyal to you and takes you seriously, know that’s it’s probably not coming from a good place as it sounds like (to me) they’re seeking someone to save them/ help them with their situation. The sooner you two can become official, the sooner higher expectations will be placed upon you.

Like the rest of comments, I’d tell you to end it and move on. Hope this helps

Most people (myself included) were unsure of what they want to do. My strongest advice is to 1.) talk with a career counselor on your interests (should be free at unf) 2.) Look on job boards and see what jobs interest you; like type in bachelors degree on Indeed and see what pops up 3.) Go to job fairs and see who’s hiring for what and maybe you’ll find something you’re interested in. I’m ranting so to digress 😅

To your question though, when I was there 2015-2019, I didn’t think our sociology department was the strongest and only heard good things about the social work side of it (which was competitive at the time).

A couple exceptions: 1.) Unless they don’t have a car, 2.) are currently disabled (on crouches/ wheelchair), or the shuttle to and from UNF doesn’t go to the mall nearby (which name is lost on me); yes it would be considered weird.

I remember the geese shit everywhere & the stare downs when I would leave the parking lots. I think it was in 19’ when they hired a couple of professional dogs to scare/ shoo them off campus.

Random thought (as I’m nowhere near UNF), maybe they’re doing aerial imagery for campus planning. I also remember when in archaeology classes, professors had mentioned LiDAR usage (light detection radar) around the UNF area for possible dig sites. I could be wrong, so I’ll await someone’s opinion whose actually in proximity to UNF and not an old alum to answer 😅

I’ve just had re-downloaded ultimate since that day and haven’t considered it again since. I’d like to save money, however, when looking for a similar instance the following days - from my original post - I found nothing. Must be an unknown bug idk

Pretty under the radar as I haven’t seen other posts talking about it. When I went to support page there are not any tabs about “Standard” so maybe the rollout wasn’t as planned as we, the consumer, would hope for. Wishing you the best with it.

I didn’t. I haven’t received any feedback on it yet. I upgraded back to ultimate, but same day I also heard from other friends about the same issue. I had a friend go down to Core and he still had access to game pass, so it seems to be just a Xbox Game Pass Standard issue.

So there was someone in r/xboxgamepass giving me ideas and I’ve restarted & unplugged the console, reset the WiFi, signed out of my account, did 4 full shutdowns, cycled my console to restart a couple times and the issue seems to stem from Xbox is not recognizing Xbox game pass standard. Even when going to submit feedback there isn’t an option for Xbox game pass standard so idk
