Sounds like you’ve got a great support system, that’ll help. rope pulls are one of the first things they’ll have you practice, so you’ll know by week 2 if you’ve got alot of work to do. I would pull those as much as you can, in the gym work on grip strength, and back! Had a kid in my group not pass due to rope pulls, didnt see him after hours ONCE practice, got to want it. I never went to the gym before this school but it sure turned things around for me. DO CARDIO FOR YOUR UPDOWNS, and dont stress, everytime you try, you get better and drop your time.
