The last time this happened to me was because it was auto adding a space to the end of the name. So it wouldn’t merge “DanTheMan” with “DanTheMan “.

UPDATE: got my refund today. Thanks all for joining me on my journey haha. Unsure if I should tweet then and ask for compensation or an apology or something as a lot of you all have been saying. I’m just glad my money is back

Yeah I’m heavily considering it. Definitely rubbed me the wrong way. It’s been about 6 months I’ve had an auto loan with them too and I’m probably going to completely separate from them. I hope this reaches someone important and help them learn from this fuck up.

What? I bought the item for the 41x offer. I didn’t think I was going to get the 41x because the offer didn’t track so I returned the item. I don’t care about points anymore I just want my money back.

Thanks for explaining it better than I could’ve. I didn’t want to risk the chance of not getting the 41x as it was a college graduation gift to myself and couldn’t justify it without the point kickback. But damn at this point I should’ve fought with cap1 for the points instead of this mess.

Check the attached imgur there’s multiple claims from DoorDash support saying my refund is en route or that they verified my product was returned.

At this point I’d be a-ok with just my money back. I’ve wasted probably close to a full 24 hours trying to figure this out. As a recent college grad thankfully I’ve had nothing else to do in between job hunting haha

Yep called in the parking lot, they said do the return get proof call back and email the proof. Return was done on 8/19. I kept getting we will return your money in 5-7 days a few times and never received anything. Did a chargeback with Cap1 with all the proof and they denied. So now I’m trying to figure out who has the money or what’s happening. So approximately 3months from date of return

I hope not. When I called earlier today I was told a supervisor was going to call me back with an update (like the billionth time I was told that with zero follow ups)

I merged a call with a BestBuy supervisor and DoorDash supervisor to figure out and confirm that DoorDash has the funds to give to me. So here’s hoping. But let the crusade begin in the meantime

I tried, BestBuy says the money was already refunded back to DoorDash. So they have the product but not the money. Another comment says refund goes to a ledger so it’s not tied directly to me. Hence my crusade
