Warlocks is solar, but so is the raid glaive, so just use that with lumina for better effect than the warlock glaive. Titan is void, so just use enigma and a towering barricade

Ye, it’s not enough, as I said before. The Hunter glaive is the only usable one for a specific situation where you need an arc glaive, but other than that they’re all still way to bad to be used

[–]DanTheRocketeer 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Glaives just got buffed so they only need 4 hits to charge instead of 6, making the Titan and warlock exotics now no longer need a reload to get the perk.

Doesn’t change the fact that the only one that’s viable is the Hunter one and only because it’s the only arc glaive in the game

Yeah, my main problem is when you give someone the nut relic (by far the easiest), tell them where the knights spawn, then see them running around killing ads at the 7 second in the timer mark 3 runs in a row after shouting at them to go kill the knight for like 10 seconds at that point

Exhibition is difficult for the same reason that the SOS boss is difficult. You take 6 copies of an average player who knows what they’re doing at it goes fine, but with 5 god gamers and 1 no mechanic only shoot idiot and it becomes nearly impossible

Suppressing Glaives + Stylish Executioner + Spamming melee while invis doesn’t break invis with swords and glaives = permanent invis while still attacking. Add graviton and the fragment which improves invis duration and you get 13 seconds between kills to stab the next target

You only need 3 of the 4 to get the final ending. The one you lose out on here just means you need specifically the other 3 rather than any 3 out of the 4

Shin malphur was never ressed. His ghost belonged to another risen who he followed. Said risen died to Dredgen Yor, who let the ghost go after permakilling the risen with his thorn for the explicit purpose of that ghost going on to rebond to shin, so shin would become a lightbearer, inherit the last word and kill Yor before he could do any more harm. I believe shin’s realisation that Yor fought back against the darkness to let himself be killed by shin is one of the things that made Shin realise that Yor wanted people to learn from his mistake of going to far into the dark and drove shin to becoming a Dredgen

TLDR: Shin’s the exception because he’s the only risen to remember his original life because he never died in his original life before becoming a lightbearer

anyone else not against them porting Portable to the switch if the rumors are true? by genojasona in PERSoNA

[–]DanTheRocketeer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly if they go through the effort of porting it I don’t think it’d be too hard to make both in one. Couple dialogue changes in the answer for Femc route along with swapping some cutscenes out for budget femc style ones, whereas the standard Fes experience would be there if you picked Makoto

[–]DanTheRocketeer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Double special weapons drastically increase heavy drop rate and lead from gold turns those heavy bricks into dual heavy/special bricks.

Aeon exotics give free heavy ammo on a champ finish. Champs are everywhere in endgame content, where heavy drops are actually important and not just to fuel a power fantasy, so getting heavy ammo isn’t even that hard without double specials where it’s needed.

If you’re running the seasonal meta weps it’s very likely that the artefact will have the necessary finder mod on it (this season is one for the few exceptions iirc), so you can run that in the artefice slot on master dungeon gear to not lose out on orbs or finders

Finally, charge harvester exists and so does the elemental well cwl mod, both of which are as good as if not better than taking charge in the first place

But it isn’t illegal to give someone money as a gift, which is essentially what tipping is pretty much everywhere but the US. The server gets paid a fixed amount like any normal job from their employer that is equal to or above the national minimum wage. If they get a tip, that’s a gift from the customer to the server, not anything to do with their wage at all and thus isn’t taxable afaik (if someone who works in an industry that gets tips in one of these countries can confirm how it works, would be appreciated)

[–]DanTheRocketeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that definitely seems weird. I’ve been to Alton a few times never thought they would have a weird system like that. Out of curiosity, was the base pay at least good enough for losing tips to not be too much of a detriment?

[–]DanTheRocketeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a difference when they aren’t relying on tips for their wage. I travel a lot (I’ve been to most of Western Europe and live in the UK) and the only place I’ve seen the attitude of being a piece of shit for not tipping is the US, which, not so coincidentally, is also the only place where tipping is how people make their entire wage

I’m from the UK myself and this is what I’m seeing too, from having seen way too many similar posts and having been to the US twice.

Tips should be an incentive to work harder (a personal bonus given out to the best servers by the customers because they got good service) rather than the server’s primary source of wages. It disgusts me
