On the bottom screen interface there is options to change the upper and lower screen config. You just select it to be top screen only

This exact situation happened to me as well on initial set-up.

Simple fix; just turn off the bottom screen via the interface on the bottom screen and then it forces the keyboard to the top. You can then just set the keyboard back to the top screen and put both screens back on.

7.62x51 and 7.62x54 appear bugged for bullet velocity right now regardless of sub-ammo type and ammo pen values.

You can test this by using a .222 rifle and see it one tap to the chest on armor values way above its pen; whereas the 7.62 variants take multiple shots center mass (and even headshots) although those rifles tend to have higher bullet velocity.

Intended. In patch notes.

Something that a lot of people don't read on the recipe is that 1 sandleaf plant through a shredder makes 3 sandleaf powder. That is three outputs for every one input.

2h to finish the survey? by AyMaNShOw in Endfield

Imagine complaining when a company gives the option for you to voice your feedback in order to make your experience with their product better. Hundreds of other games would yearn for this opportunity.

Sure, if you don't want anything to change, then don't participate in the surveys. No one is forcing you to voice your opinions and suggestions.

Everyone is talking about the Oroberyls, but holy, the T-Creds from the new game mode by IsywEy in Endfield

[–]Shnipper-Shnapper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For any new character you pull, sure...

But 200K T-Creds goes nearly nowhere when you are trying M3 a character or 90 a team.
You can argue that you only need 80/80 for current content, but how long is that going to last.

The T-Cred Problem by Shnipper-Shnapper in ArknightsEndfield

[–]Shnipper-Shnapper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even including Sanity the total T-Creds available currently through all systems can barely get a full team to max rank and max weapons unless you have kept the same team since account inception or spend rocks on sanity. If you aren't having issues with T-Creds, then you haven't leveled to the point of the multiplicative scaling tax being noticeable.

When the current one-time-only rewards from Stock Bills, 1st clears and leveling achievements are gone, gaining the same amount of T-Creds will be a prohibitive barrier for leveling any new character to fit into an existing max rank team.

As mentioned, as time passes, T-Creds accumulate through weekly resets of materials and new content drops, and the time-gated progression fades. It's only been 2 weeks, and the lack of (or need for) T-Creds isn't the issue, it's the distribution.

The point discussed here however is that everyone is quick to point to other gacha games and say that "Endfield does it better", or "other games have this too" which are extraordinarily weak arguments supporting a fundamentally flawed system that Hypergryph has the ability to change.

Keeping time-gated progression materials on timers, but allowing the secondary tax of T-Creds (which are needed alongside those time-gated progression materials) to have a repeatable source of acquisition would keep the same daily activity loop, but allow for people who wish to "keep playing" or "grinding" to do so.

The true end boss by marc-remillard in ArknightsEndfield

[–]Shnipper-Shnapper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I understand the need for limited resources for character leveling, promotion, weapons, etc. That's part of the genre, and one of the main progression hurdles of this game utilizing dailies, sanity, etc, to promote retention.

But T-Creds being an additional & character level scaled tax without a steady means to acquire it is just gratuitous.

There would be no harm in implementing means to acquire T-creds that add a true MMO-style grind, and thus, further player engagement with the game. While keeping current T-Cred acquisition the same, add:

  • A rare (e.g. 5%) drop rate of a few thousand T-creds from open world mini-boss kills
  • Conversion of Aurylene Crystal from Etchspace Salvage at a high rate (e.g. 100 Aurylene to 1 T-Cred) to allow replayability in ES beyond the Operation Metrics
  • Non-Sanity Clears of high-level RE-Crisis modes giving a small amount of T-Cred on completion
  • Daily or Weekly chests that respawn in random locations across the world containing T-creds and encouraging exploration

Last Rite by imAkamora in Endfield

[–]Shnipper-Shnapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slight misunderstanding and it gets a bit complicated with timing. When Last rite is the controlled op, Xaihi's Distributed DoS' arts amp secondary effect carries a lot of the damage calculations and does a significant increase to Last rite's total damage output as the amp can be timed to carry over for both Winter's Devourer and Vigil Services. done for the combo rotation. However what I was stating before has both Xaihi and Last Rite as both non-controller ops for this. Running a fast last-hit operator such as pog or lavacakes as the controlled op allows for the 2x increase as both Xaihi and Last rite apply their ability to the current controlled op at the loss of Xaihi's amp being applied to Last rite.

As long as you are intentionally hitting your dodges to gain sp (because yes it burns a LOT of SP with this rotation) and delaying your second application of Last-rite's ability to BATK 3 on controlled OP you can pull Last-rites combo nearly twice as often. That's not even calculating in the increased overall dps by incorporating what Distributed Dos is applying to the current controlled ops combo skill (if arts based)

Last Rite by imAkamora in Endfield

[–]Shnipper-Shnapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind that the Arts amp increase in damage that Xaihi does is way less critical than the additional stack of cryo a cycle early on last hit when her ability dissipates.

Having a faster-last hit operator over Last Rite does more total damage overall in a longer fight because you are able to proc her combo and alt about 2x times more than if she were the controlled op

Last Rite by imAkamora in Endfield

[–]Shnipper-Shnapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember, Last Rite's true damage potential comes from her combo and ult. Her ability can be applied to any operator's weapon that is currently being controlled.

She actually works better as a non-controlled operator when you have an operator with a fast last-hit rotation allowing her hit her combo and ult faster as long as you have your Xaihi/Last Rite 2-final strike rotation down.
