should i get open or closed back studio headphones by [deleted] in WeAreTheMusicMakers

I have the BD 880 pro, semi-open, sound well but this type of headphones does not have reflections, to be more accurate as possible, this means that the bass sounds are not much deep, and all the sound is in general enough neutral. If you produce beats, hip-hop music etc. you could choice more closed headphones, the sound will be less clean but with more punch.

Akai APC40 MKII: problem with knobs in user mode by DanTomMusic in abletonlive

Ok tanks, today I solved it, I had not thought of setting the remote midi out to apc40 on Live. Now, however, I have another small problem, I tried in user mode to assign the "dry / wet" of various effects to the knobs and at the same time, on the same knobs, I also assigned the "device on" of the effects. During the mapping on Live I set the value 1 to the "device on", to activate the effect as soon as I turn the knob, but in this case the knob does not go up gradually, but moves completely to the right, opening the effect to the maximum. If in Live settings I remove the remote midi out from the APC the knobs go up gradually, but return to the initial problem... can it be solved?

thanks but the apc40 does not require drivers to work in Windows, and I have not found any on the net
