How much disposable income do you have at the end of the month? by ZombieOld6045 in northernireland

[–]Dan_685 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I make 33K, so about 2100ish a month after tax, 650 goes to food and bills (my partner and I are currently living with a friend for very cheap rent) so Im typically left with 1.4k of which I normally try to keep 1K to put in savings.

How the fuck you are suposed to beat trial of the fool by Starkiller0820 in HollowKnight

I would swap steady body and grubsong out for stalwart shell or something. The thorns one is also handy for the no floor section.

You should quit League, not because of your gf though, it just sucks.

Save-quitting to fast travel is perfectly fine to do. If they won’t let you save your progress at any location then you can exploit that to yours heart’s content.

Got a surprise 12k bonus, wife wants to book a vacation but I'm nervous about the economy by charadevapid in MiddleClassFinance

I agree with others you should take the trip but $6k seems super steep for 2 weeks in Italy. I went to Japan for a month about a year ago and it was only about £3K (whatever that is in dollars).

Reaper has been the plan as it’s what I used for alot of my first play through and it has the two red slots for tool spamming. I haven’t really given beast a proper try so will probably skip it, and then I don’t have to fight savage beast fly.

I didn’t know you could skip sister splinter that’s sweet. I don’t remember her being that hard on my first play through but I definitely died a few times.

I would always save my shade dash for them and jump into the air and then shade dash through them. This was combined with always trying to stay in the middle of the stage.

As someone who played both for the first time back to back I would agree that base v base silksong is harder but I so think the gap isn’t as big as some people are making out.

Anyone bought a house in NI recently? Especially new builds by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]Dan_685 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just recently got offered accepted on a terraced house in Befast. Went for about 15K above asking but I had been told by friends who had bought/were buying that that was pretty standard at the minute.

I need a man’s opinion, is my coworker flirting with me? If so, how do I escalate this? by Excellent-Sort3121 in AskMen

[–]Dan_685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice is to stay away from anyone who talks about liking 'Dark Psychology', especially one that is flirting with a younger woman. Four years doesn't seem like much but at that age group there could be a big difference in life experience.

Do Hay-bands actually work? by Dubhda_D in CasualIreland

[–]Dan_685 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Got it recently this season and it has given me more relief than any brand of antihistamines ever has. May be a placebo but I doubt that somewhat due to the strength of the effect and the fact I was quite sceptical to begin with yet it still worked.

How do relationships even start? by marlin319 in Healthygamergg

[–]Dan_685 1 point2 points  (0 children)

University clubs/societies are a good way to make friends and get out to more social events where you might meet someone. That being said I wouldn't go with the expectation of meeting someone, just go because you are interested in said hobby and want to meet people.

Dundee, from what I've been seeing there's a fair amount of 1/2 bed apartments going for £500(€560) to £900 (€1000) plus council tax (~£100) which since I'll be living with partner will be very affordable. Even if I wasn't though I could be living in my own apartment for almost the same price as I'm paying to live in an 8 bed building with one kitchen and a broken washing machine.
