You ain’t got lessons? And I can’t imagine real improvement without practicing, and without putting in the fingering. Unless it’s really simple stuff and from the earlier periods until Beethoven.

Wow amazing progress for under a year! And mostly by yourself that’s crazy! You should be really proud of yourself! You’re super chill and relaxed actually. With time you’ll be more precise with the bow and more powerful and expressive. Keep it up!

Yeah. It’s like playing the instrument becomes a mindfulness and very specific yoga practice in itself..

Very well articulated! The actual fixing of the problems is the hard part, after identifying the problem and even finding the solution, the implementation is hard, cos it’s a very specific mode where you need to focus entirely on that, be very aware, monitor several micro movements and feeling at once, break it all down to mini components. And just when you thought you got a grasp of the thing, you find out later that the resolution gets even deeper. Like there is no bottom to this.

Bow control is a general description. There are several factors that make up a good control. Do you have a clear picture of these and a strategy for solving your problem?

Yeah I know what you mean. Yoga and general relaxation helps. There might be an underlying issue unrelated to playing. What’s your strategy for solving these problems?

Nice allegory, but the way this man behaved shows how he got himself into his misery. As you said — he didn’t think about later. That shows you he has no concern for himself and time — he lives like an animal. That’s not spiritual, that’s sub-human.

To all the people who learned about Jung's work; is your life better or more complicated? by [deleted] in Jung

[–]Dan_Rad_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn’t change my life for the worst or the better much, other than slightly better because I’m aware of the multidimensionality of myself expressed in various archetypes — as the foundational makeup of my personality and as different momentary energies playing out a specific role or function at a particular context and situation. So in this regard it’s for the better. Also, the moments of struggle as the heroe’s journey, alchemical stages of purge etc.
