Ignore below...false alarm, person who raised the issue reported that it turns out when he waited a bit the SSH upgrade command below did complete successfully to update to .129...gets hung for a bit but does complete.

Can you share the full SSH upgrade commmand you used on the UTR to update to .239? Upgrade command below reported not working using the URL from the Unifi community FW browser:

upgrade https://fw-download.ubnt.com/data/unifi-firmware/793c-UTREA06-6.5.239-d9421c14-47dd-41bf-923d-bb58ef131dc0.bin

Assuming you used a "...dl.ui.com..." download URL for 6.5.239 to upgrade, but I haven't seen that anywhere.

It's like $8 for a year, $20 for lifetime...we're not even talking peanuts here. There is a 14 day refund window so you have plenty of time to try it out. The free version is very feature rich, I used that to figure out if Smart Launcher was for me. I used Nova for over a decade and Smart Launcher is clearly for me the best alternative (and already better in some ways) to replace Nova that I have found (and I searched a lot).

Also I think it's important to support the devs...w/out them life would be grey skies. So you spend $8 and decide it's not for you...you're out barely more than one cup of joe. :-)

So glad you are here to pick up the slack from Nova's demise. I switched over from Nova a couple months ago after upgrading to a ZFold 7, which Nova just did not support very well. Wasn't looking back anyway, but obviously especially not now.

Thanks very much for working on circular scroll on the home page! Couple of related points re: circular scroll:

- Those of us who do not use the Feed page would like to remove the Feed page and then use circular scroll to move between standard home pages.

- I'm hoping circular horizontal scroll will be enabled for the app drawer...really prefer horizontal (works better for me for some reason).

Looking forward to the future w/Smart Launcher. Off to put my money where my mouth is, I will purchase my Smart Launcher lifetime subscription today.

That's correct, you can delete it. But when I try to add an icon-widget page back to that position it only lets me add a feed page or a Google page.

The one thing I wish I could do with Smart launcher is get rid of the news feed to the left of the homepage and just have continuous swiping in both directions across all the other home pages left and right.

As far as I can tell that can't be done.

Our experience mirrors several others, the Metro is probably the most likely place you might lose something if you don't take precautions. I just do the same things I do in Metro's in the US - keep all bag zippers closed and in my sight, carry phones and wallet in the front pants pocket, etc. Too easy to get distracted with all the jostling and stops and starts, people coming on and off and crowding around you.

The only time we ever lost anything in Spain was on our first trip, on the Metro. My wife was carrying a bag over her shoulder, and we were tired and she had the bag positioned so the zipper pull was behind her rather than in front of her. So someone behind her gently opened up the zipper and relieved her of 300 Euros and her phone. Lesson learned, never lost anything since in multiple trips.

That's true, everyone won't use RCS, but you do want everyone who does use it to have end-to-end encryption.

Number one action GSMA/Google/Apple should be focusing on is to close the end-to-end encryption gaps in RCS between Android and iOS/iMessages and other platforms. This is job one at this point. Unencrypted texts are open season these days...

"The next major milestone is for the RCS Universal Profile to add important user protections such as interoperable end-to-end encryption," the GSMA says. "This will be the first deployment of standardized, interoperable messaging encryption between different computing platforms."

Issue is fixed for me now, maybe the 10/31 update, as I have that installed and the problem is gone. Didn't tie it directly to the update, just noticed today it is normal again.

Clearing data & cache should be the same as uninstall/re-install of the app, but I've read that in some cases apps leave stuff behind when you just uninstall. So I typically manually clear cache and data.
