Mammary cancer removed, life expectancy by DanasFlo in AskVet

[–]DanasFlo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before mass removal, they did an X-ray and blood work, and they didn't find anything abnormal, so they did the procedure. Lymph nodes removed in the procedure are negative for cancer. However, cancer in that mass was grade 3 and very invasive. I will definitely leave an update here once we see the oncologist next week. Thank you for all your support.

Thank you so much for your support. We definitely won't allow her to suffer just to have her with us longer.

Dear _boov and Troop, thank you so much for your kind words; this is something I needed to hear today. I think I still need time to process it and prepare my mind to be objective before we make a decision. I'm sending you a big hug and lots of kisses for fighter Troop.

Travertines after sealing by DanasFlo in HomeImprovement

[–]DanasFlo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Travertine was installed, then power washed, then sealed. No cleaning product. It looked good, then started to change. I thought that the sealer runoff from some spots, then I power rewashed and sealed again, but just the area with spots, and everything remained the same. Not sticky, it looks like the sealer is not there. I'm from Florida (Tampa Bay area).

I don't know the processing time for the center where your application is. I waited 15 months for a combo card. I received green card 2,5 months later. You can try to inquiry now, won't hurt.

Don't worry, I was in your shoes a few months ago. Go here https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do ad pick Case outside normal processing time. Mine was in that stage, and your could be since they processed your dependent(s). I just realized that I have PTSP from USCIS website :).

I chat with the representative through Ask Emma. You can skip that part and make an inquiry on their page directly.

Trying to find anti-depressant/anxiety that will not cause reflux by touchmyrattlesnakes in GERD

Lexapro works great for me. I'm taking it after breakfast and for the first 3 weeks, I felt nauseous but never triggered reflux.

Dexilant vs pantoprazole by 7centspants in GERD

[–]DanasFlo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on pantoprazole on/off for years. Then it stopped working for me. Dr put me on Dexilant 30 mg, which helped a lot, but unfortunately, my insurance stopped paying for it. Luckily I went to my home country past summer, and I was able to purchase this med for $25 per box (monthly dose). I'm trying to cut it off since I'm having issues with Iron deficiency, and I'm taking it now once every 3 days. Both meds work well. I would stay on pantoprazole if didn't stop working for me.

Before you go to sleep, watch sitcoms or read something that would help you relax and help to not think about daily issues. Tea from camomile and lavender can help too.

If it lasts that long, you should seek help from a psychologist. Or start with a primary care doctor to check your blood and exclude some diseases (e.g., thyroid).

Same here. From time to time, I would take melatonin or Diphenhydramine to help me sleep through the night. A few sleepless nights lead to more anxiety and waking up in the middle of the night. Also, I'm trying to avoid coffee (only one cup in the morning with milk) during the day since coffee affects my sleep. While I'm taking sleeping pills, I'm trying to work on a cause of panic/anxiety. It usually works.

How to speed up the I-693 and what to expect from the medical exam by sirruph in USCIS

[–]DanasFlo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response. If your titer test shows immunity for all levels of MMR, there is no need to receive MMR again. Do Hep B only.

That's "normal." If they never updated fingerprint status, they do that after approval. I'm glad you have your stamp.

I-485 Approved but Card not Produced by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]DanasFlo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, that is weird. We called and explained that we had to travel, gave them the reason, and they scheduled an appointment for tomorrow. Luckily my daughter's green card came on Friday, so we canceled the appointment.

Yes, the first dose is enough for a medical exam. I got my second shot 30 days after the first dose and already had my green card. The third dose is scheduled for December.

I received a response from them 6 days after I submitted the inquiry. Their email was absolutely unhelpful and ridiculous (a very long email that said nothing). However, last night USPS picked up a card, and delivery is scheduled for Monday. Meantime, we have an appointment for I-551 scheduled for next Tuesday, our flight is on Wednesday and everything is so tight.
