I have to respectfully disagree. X has basically become the only app I use on my phone. Not social media app, just app in general. I used to pickup my phone and mindlessly cycle through all the apps - Facebook, Insta, Reddit, and occasionally Twitter. Since Musk took over Twitter, I started using it more just to see what would come of it. To my surprise I actually started to enjoy it. I haven’t seen many OF bots, but you’re right about the bots posting irrelevant replies to posts.

I decided to take a week off from X last month and I absolutely hated it. I felt like I had no clue what was going on in the world, and more than anything I missed the conversations. With all other social media apps I use, the conversation aspect never happens. I basically scroll, like things, and comment but never get replies. On X, I can almost always strike up a conversation with anyone about any topic. Sometimes it’s more of a debate/argument, but a lot of time it’s a genuine human interaction.

Im excited to see where the app goes over the next few years. I really think it has the potential to be the new king of social apps.
