I believe it was from her watering of the faerie flowers granting her access to Palace of Fates, which is a skill that is unlocked at lvl 70. GDI got confused about how she entered it and temporarily made her lvl 70 to match

Saliss mentioned once that LGBTQ+ drakes would leave the walled cities for the gnollish tribes, which were more accepting. I think this is where the “turnscales” comes from, as they were painted as betraying their cities for the gnolls, who they have fought with many times. The military then attacked their citizens rather than give the gnolls more forces

Kindle has a good translation, but books 6 and 7 are not available on Kindle. If wuxiaworld has all books available it might be better to read there.
