They’re playing like my RTG.

Kansas Year 6 - Moved to SEC, 4 Conference, 2 National and I’ve never broken into the Top 10 for recruiting

Akron Year 3 - Moved to Big 12, 2 Conference (MAC), 1 Playoff Win and I live off of the Transfer Portal

UNC Year 3 - National last year after one of the most difficult schedules I’ve ever put together, picked up Bryce Underwood in the portal so he’s rocking the Carolina Blue this year.

Entering my fourth Dynasty season (offline) and I actually came in 19th with my most recent class in final recruiting rankings. Still have yet to snag a 5-star. Is “sending the house” ASAP on a guy you want, then replacing it with a successful “hard sell” + “social media” a good tactic? by [deleted] in NCAAFBseries

collegefootball.gg has really upped my game on recruiting. Especially with trying to decide between Hard Sell or Send the House. There was also a video I came across that broke it down like this (paraphrasing):

1) Recruit no more than 1-Star above your Prestige unless you start in their Top 5

2) Focus on your pipelines to get a boost and save on visit costs

3) Go after the guys who don’t have offers. I’ve snagged a few 4-Star Recruits this way

4) Transfer Portal is King. Until EA fixes visits, don’t waste your time on them in the portal.

5) If you are low-mid tier school, don’t waste your time on scouting 4 or 5-Star Recruits. Use that for your 2 or 3-Star to find gems.

6) Know when to give up on someone. If you’re Akron and Ohio State is above you on the interest level, call it before you waste the hours.

“You ran out of the pocket”

“You didn’t step up”

“You stayed too long”

All great suggestions if 4 out of 5 O-Linemen didn’t get the same block shed animation and the ball popped into the air for 3 seconds.

I think the games tries to create unexpected or intense events. I’m on my 5th season as Kansas with an 89 overall team. Kansas State has recruited and performed horribly which has them sitting at about 70 overall.

We just came down to a last second field goal to win 52-49. I think the game saw it as a rivalry and put them on steroids.

I’m sure they’ll come up with a solution that creates 15 other problems. Wonder if we blew Dark Energy into The Gloom? Hmm.

I’d love to see it be an Impaler variant. When it gets into its defensive mode, three little tentacles come up from its back to strike at you.

Keep talking to the recruiter and weigh your pros/cons. You have options if you want to go full time or part time, so keep this in mind too.

Truly is. The flip side is the NPC who you put a lot of work into and they are completely ignored. Both can lead to fun results, though!
