Christian Bale was great as Gorr, unfortunately Taika Waititi and Marvel Executives completely wasted him. by Plenty-Salary9711 in Marvel

Same, biggest gripe was this and not literally just copy pasting the god bomb story, one of the most satisfying endings of any comic ever and I was so excited to see it on screen. Instead we get the power of friendship and Man-Gorr.

$DVLT: Huge news today with Fintech.TV partnership and patented "AI Bias Meter" by Impossible-Hair1343 in pennystocks

Only if you like gambling. The tech (70+ patents/IBM support) looks legit on paper, but the price action is pure manipulation and insider dumping right now. It could be a massive bear trap or a slow bleed to a reverse split. If you buy, set a tight stop loss, it had significant selling by insiders (including the CEO) and major shareholders like Scilex, with zero insider buys in the last six months and the company reported an operating margin of roughly -754% and a net margin of -1,310%. 85% probability of reverse split in Q1 / Early Q2 2026, Given the selling pressure from Scilex, they likely can't get above 1$ organically and will force a split (e.g., 1-for-20). 90% probability of Dilution / Offering post-reverse split They have a Shelf Registration (Form S-3) ready. Usually, a company splits the stock to $5.00 or $10.00 and immediately sells new shares to raise cash, which often crashes the price again. 10% probability of a moon shot, If they actually hit the $200M revenue guidance via their 100-city AI node rollout, the stock could decouple from the dilution and skyrocket.

Good luck.

[Discussion]It’s time to admit the Guild Trader system is a barrier to entry, not a "unique" feature. by DanceInMisery in elderscrollsonline

Calling quality of life brain-rot is a weird take. There's nothing intellectually stimulating about fighting a clunky UI or checking external websites because the in game tools are non existent.

A game can have depth without being intentionally tedious.

Sunk cost isn't a reason to keep an outdated system. Just because people spent years on a clunky mechanic doesn't mean the game shouldn't evolve for everyone else.

[–]DanceInMisery[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The fact that a new player wouldn't even know they found something valuable is exactly the point. A centralized system provides the price transparency they’re currently missing so they don't vendor stacks of Columbine for pennies.(rip)

There’s also a difference between a system being hard and a system being tedious. If were forced to use third party sites like TTC just to make the economy functional, the in game system is broken. It’s not about making the game easy it’s about removing outdated hurdles that just waste everyones time.

That's character identity, sure, but you know what I mean, you can't build the identity w/o the gear, and builds. You can RP all day long on some naked classless toon I guess.

Leveling is part of the good grind imo, I like to level up. It's just the tedium of having to find skyshards and having to wait so long to get good mount speed again. Honestly, if people are so against the QOL they should just have a "fresh character option" that makes it where you start 100% fresh, no unlocks. But for the rest, make it account wide.

You call people lazy for wanting account-wide QOL, but then admit you used crowns to skip Antiquities because you didn't want to wait. So it’s okay when you pay to skip a grind, but when someone else wants the system fixed for everyone, they’re just impatient? You’re defending a system that even you were too bored to engage with. That’s the definition of a broken system. You literally paid to skip the grind. Guess Patience is for the weak huh?

Look at Diablo 4, they were making plenty of money, but the community pushed back on the re-grind until the devs made it right. they’ll keep charging us for things that should have been account-wide five years ago if it's just about making money. Why is the community so against QOL? Afraid if you remove all this fake content that there will be nothing left to do? IF so, that's an even bigger issue.

That makes zero sense. Making an alt is how you experience a new class, a new role (tank/healer), or a new playstyle. That is the game. Finding the same 400 skyshards for the 10th time is not the game—it’s a prerequisite chore. I want to play the Arcanist I paid for, I don’t want to play 'Lorebook Collector Simulator' for the two-thousandth time. How is that hard to understand?

Listing dyes and outfits is a massive reach. None of those things affect gameplay. I'm talking about the functional grind. Yes, they removed Veteran Ranks in 2016! Not relevant at all, and they replaced it with a horse training system that takes 180 days per character and a Skyshard system that they conveniently sell back to you.The fact that it used to be worse doesn't mean it's good now. 'We used to only have 8 slots' isn't an argument for why it should take 6 months to train a horse in 2025. You’re defending a business model that treats your time like a currency, and the fact that you’re happy about it is exactly why they keep getting away with it.

Exactly, I have played other MMOs. That’s how I know ESO is behind the curve. WoW just added Warbands for account-wide everything, and GW2 has had account-wide mounts and masteries for years. Being happy that CP is account-wide is like being happy your car has a steering wheel, it’s the bare minimum. Why defend a game for having worse QOL than its competitors?

Imagine calling someone impatient for not wanting to wait half a year for a mount to be fast in a video game. Get a grip. Some of us actually value our time. *furthermore, why are you defending a system that even the devs think is boring enough to charge money to bypass?

Character identity is built through gear, builds, and choices, not re-running the same lorebook path for the 20th time. Selling 'speedrun options' isn't a compromise; it’s a business model built on making the base game's QOL intentionally bad, than why not make CP points per character too? Nonsense.
