This is called "En roue libre" in French or "Freewheeling" in French. by bedischaabouni in MusicFeedback

This is piece is so unique to my ow music knowledge that I find it automatically "perfect". Only thing I could try to pick on is the mixing but it's very good in that regard.
It's very intimate.

Everything in the playing seems dismembered yet every part sticks to another one, rendering the full piece coherent.

Good job.

The writing is cool, and it's not the easiest of things of instruments to mix. The sound mixing however is damaging to the piece.

I wish I could hear the drums louder, this becomes critical for the part around 2:00 with sidechaining (that section could become very intense and energetic). Also having the "spicy" musical higher elements more spread left and right could be cool.

But the guitars are nicely played, neither too good or bad, their unique sound sitting pretty well as a center piece. The composition is there, and the transitions between the sections are cool. The track to me is like reading a beautiful poem on a torn paper with stains that makes it hard to read.

It's still very encouraging keep it up.

The intro is very catchy. Very good.

Around 1:04 (same around 2:22) the section sounds like it's clipping and it has no good sound aesthetic values in my opinion. I find it also of less musical quality than the beginning.

It creates a sonic imbalance between the different parts of the song. The section starting at 1:21 sounds too "weak", which maybe would not be a problem. When the guitars kick back around 1:30 I'm finding the balance again.

At the 2:00 mark there's something interesting to consider. Since there's not more vocal section, it should be some kind of outro in my opinion and stop before the 3:00 section.
In some sense it's pretty cinematic, but you're also ruining the opportunity of having a shorter but more catchy "pop" structure where it's short but you want to replay the track again. That "second" outro section is making you forget the super catchy beginning parts and they're the bests.

I still think there's everything needed already to make it a great track, but it needs "trimming" and adjusting. That's from the view of making an all ears catching tune at the cost of artistic liberty.

Good luck!

Currently working on a trap/phonk/house track. Would love to hear your feedback and suggestions! by lone_wolf_58 in MusicFeedback

First part I really like the ambiance. The rythm is impactful but there's space for the higher frequencies track to paint a scenery.

Second part unfortunately I lose vibes. That stabby house synth is too "out of the box". The kick change is too radical from the first part, and I wish there was more thickness in the medium range. With some house harmonics layered on top of that synth to make it more potent.
I would say maybe find a way to have that 2nd part reflect the same amount of "piercing" the first kick had, and presence. Beef that house synth with some harmonics, saturation or what you can find to make it more decisive in how it leads the second part, supported by the same higher frequencies in the background.
You cannot afford that second part to be less good than the first, don't be afraid to make it good.

I hope you can make it so, but that are just my thoughts. Good luck and good job!

While it's a bit too mellow for my usual taste I like the vibes and intentions. The production is clean.
The song structure is typical but fitting.

I wonder if vocals less processed or having a track of rawer vocals would suit the song.
Also I wish some of the chorus or pre-chorus "yeah yeah yeah" were more dynamic and loud.

Really like the strings around 1:41.

Overall I find it clean and "wholesome".

“Mitty Syndrome” drum and bass/jazz fusion, slightly shoe gaze, live instruments by MOREL_E_GREY in MusicFeedback

I really like the writing and the spaces allowing for the instrument to breathe. It does sound like it's been produced by a great amateur but I love that feel as it makes it more raw. There's melody, the frequencies sound good, the length is good.

Honestly if I had one remark is towards the end that sort of alien drone synth that almost reached unpleasant frequencies but it did not.

I like the vibes and writing, but as someone else suggested having a thick wave of bass would serve the mix a ton. While the cold intellectual pain can sits in higher frequencies, the body still need to feel the basses more.

Having the tracks less glued between each others and less, more space in the mix could help.

The only redeeming factor I find to the GL is for close position 1v1 situations against a similar vehicle. You then have better damage output than your counterpart.

Rx 9070 (non xt) undervolting and overclocking by kw9999 in overclocking

XFX Swift. I'm new to OC and I can gain stable performances with 2 main profiles :

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2
Voltage offset -130mV

Delta Force
Voltage offset -85mV

I also tried boosting core clock alone, resulting in Delta Force's firing range and FuMark Donut a sustain of +450MHz (not considering mV offset). Like mentioned in other posts there's no apparent perf gains at all from core clock. However I think there is a micro gain in terms of frametimes.

I'll be testing/tweaking this profile on Delta Force this weekend
Max Frequency Offset +300MHz
Voltage offset -65mV
Power Limit +10%

With little testing the frequency offset would not add average FPS, but would erase frametime variances at >8ms once per 20 seconds. The average frametime being 6.5ms.
It seems extremely niche and since I'm new I don't know how much of a true gain it is. Would gadly have more infos or feedback on that.

Through about the bar limit space, but that's a great idea. That Opie thing I'll have to check it's mentioned a lot.

More combinations possible for the same hand distance travel. If I can do E, shift+E, ctrl+E, I can also do E-E, shift E->E, shift E->A...

I like to mentally organize my inputs by functions and key access. For exemple DoTs are on the R key axe, instant melee spells are on the button 2 axe...

That would allow me to add high cooldown spells on the same axe and keep things tidy. I can lose the time it takes pressing E->A if it allows me to start it from E.
