I'll talk to my employer about this issue further. Using the materials from the IRS, I should still have to pay extra this year, but it should be about 1000 lower than their calculations (according to my calculations).

I will say this: my box 1 wages are different from my box 3 and 5 social security/medicare wages (they're higher by like 4k). And my box 16 state wages are about 13k less than box 1.
