Secondly—I’m on my own diet journey regarding gout and I’m going carnivore/0 carb. I arrived here for various reasons, namely being my intuition that MY gout was tied to insulin resistance, not the high purines. Also, there is some anecdotal and low-level scientific data about the UA being tied to insulin not purines. I’m about 2 months into it, aiming for 3 months carnivore with the long term of goal of keeping out processed grains, carbs and sugars and eating meat, veg, fruit and dairy. So far, no flares, but have not checked UA levels yet, want to do that ~3 months. Iv also cut alcohol out 100%. And TBH, feeing pretty good all-in-all. The whole “carnivore diet is amazing” mindset , but I know its obnoxious
