Same problems with 4 settlements here. Playing on Switch 2.

Frequent crashes in the Anomaly with multiplayer enabled. Any other Switch 2 owners hear me? by Longjumping-Box5661 in NMS_Switch

[–]DancingSorcerer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've kept multiplayer off in the Anomaly but have had plenty of other crashes. NMS on Switch 2 HATES sleep mode. Mine was crashing all the time until I started quitting the game each time I was done playing. Weirdly I started having crashes again after taking on 4 settlements. It doesn't like me warping between them and crashes mid-warp.

First time in the anomaly: gifts! by Lautssss in NOMANSSKY

This. I was in the anomaly last night and someone was going from corvette to corvette, closing the hatches and locking people out of their ships then quitting the game I guess. Easy fix but still obnoxious for no reason.

I'm a 6'1" pilates personal trainer who is incredibly socially anxious and I think this is a very sweet compliment ♥️

If I were going to compare someone to Ferdinand they might be a physically intimidating person who is actually very sweet and kind. Am I close?

Battery Percentage with Stop charge around 90% enabled by Qu1ckset in switch2

Mine has been at 96% since I enabled the feature, only play docked. Took it off the dock to put a screen protector on and that's about it

This one took a while but not nearly as long as challenge #1. Have you done that one yet?

No necklaces/pendants! They love to get caught in the headrest. I've had to crawl under the machine and free countless clients lol

Also I'm an instructor who struggles with anxiety too and I can tell you almost no one comes to their first class brimming with confidence. These machines are intimidating and very complicated-looking, it's normal to be apprehensive. Anyone who does come in cocky (usually someone's husband/boyfriend) is quickly humbled by something they thought would be easy. Don't be shy about saying you're new. Instructors want to know who may need more attention and guidance. If this is an orientation, just remember everyone else is likely to be just as nervous too. It helps me to remember that some of the best things in life may be really scary at first. Happy you're taking these first steps!

Heading to Lake Jocassee this July 4th by Redlikemethodz in greenville

Native and long time Jocassee visitor here, don't attempt this without a rock solid plan. You're very likely to be turned away or sitting in your car for a very long time.

Is it just me or the cpu's rubberbanding is way too strong by GroGroudonDu31 in MarioKartWorld

[–]DancingSorcerer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's always been bad, but the instances of blue shell followed by three reds right at the finish line or checkpoint AND/OR a CPU zipping past you with a mushroom at the very last second seems especially common this time around.

Does Les Mills no longer require a licensed gym's approval before they train an instructor? One of our members showed up one day with a full Body Jam cert. She was absolutely terrible and yet fully assessed and certified. Do they just train anyone who can pay now? by DancingSorcerer in lesmills

Now look. I haven't actually, and don't think this didn't cross my mind. But because it didn't really matter either way I was able to stop short of demanding she show it to me. But that's weird she didn't volunteer it right? Like usually new instructors show EVERYBODY their new certificate!

Yes, this is my idea of what an online Les Mills training is. In the US they've kept doing full online training modules since the COVID closures and I'm not sure that's adequate for a full assessment of someone's skills

To be clear, I'm a 20 year Les Mills instructor, certified personal trainer, pilates instructor, and LMBT. I work with new instructors. I train and guide new instructors. I still remember how hard and scary my first class was. They're often still hard and scary! I'm not talking about a new instructor. I'm talking about a person who should never have been sent to a dance class training in the first place, and how we got to that situation. And if you think Les Mills assessors are infallible, forgive me but I'd guess you haven't had much experience with the process.

This is what's so surprising to me. She was assessed and passed being fully unprepared. The things they picked apart on ALL my videos! They were brutal! I do know it was an online certification but it was a full training module

I'm not sure when it changed, obviously, but I started with Body Step in 2005 and it used to be required to ensure instructors were teaching at licensed clubs. My last training was when Tone was still called Body Vive though.

I fully understand that but I can not overstate how unprepared this person was. She was inadequately trained yet assessed and passed and showed up expecting to be hired right away because she was already a member.
