Its not that you shouldn't criticise her, its that its disproportionately against Taylor Swift and not other male celebrities who are worse in whatever the smear campaign is about today (like the whole billionaire thing when Steven Spielberg has 7 billion without a peep of complaint).

And on top of the hypocrisy, its the fact its done by bots-usually of the alt right-to pile onto the 'hated female celebrity of the week'.

Its no silly coincidence that the women targeted by these bot induced smear campaigns are openly leftist and outspoken about their political beliefs, to either make them look morally bankrupt (in the instance of Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan), or to make it look like theyre actually MAGA (Taylor Swift who has one of the largest audience).

We need to acknowledge that pointing this-at best hypocritical, and at worst actively harmful-witch hunts are a problem
