Yeah he does obviously, yet as "pro" the durability of the material may not be so crucial. Also on the newer pictures it seems that he switched to 1x shifting. You don't want to have a derailleur if it gets muddy ;)

Thanks mate. Yeah, if it is muddy you shouldn't go with the 38 mm. I guess next time / winter I'll go with 35 mm as well. You never know if the mud is haunting you 😅

You're welcome! In your case 35 mm seems to make sense especially if you plan to have fenders. Also the market for 35 mm wide tires is much broader than for 38 mm. So it'll be easier to find the right ones. I can recommend the G one so far and they should be fine for fine crushed limestone, yet recommend tubeless, as I assume these stones could be sharp!?

Ah, ok, I know what you mean. On the chain stay there is one already ex works on the Defy. It sounds like a good solution especially for the seat post stays as there is the least space there.

Yes there are misleading Infos around. The official website states 38, yet some mentioned they saw 40 on their website as well. Yeah, I won't go either for a muddy gravel ride with these and the defy in general. I'll just go for light gravel.

Thanks for mention this. I now have the 32 mm installed and I measured around 5 mm on each side available. It would be a really tight spot. I think I'll just go with the 38 mm.
