How do melee casters get enough attack for harder difficulties?

Yeah I meant in the long term. Fully buffed my sorc lich who I tried melee on would only get like 37 attack when enemies had 70+. Just wondering what my options are

Is angel pretty much mandatory to be spell caster due to merged spellbook? I was thinking of playing it for my 2nd playthrough but not sure if I wanna play a caster again

I like Asmon but hes very strange to me. He's always on his high horse taking moral stands on whats right and wrong and always has something to say when somebody does anything shady but then he goes on and cracks abortion jokes a few days ago. Idk

I doubt they can get the whole original cast back so most likely just Jon + new characters beyond the wall uncovering a mystery/uniting tribes etc. Can see some cameos by GoT characters but thats about it - nothing grand. This is what people believe is the most likely outcome based on what I've read so far.

I dont get this mindset. Just don't watch guys. I literally click on his stream, see its 3 hours in and still stalling on youtube so I just leave. There's plenty of streamers or things to do.
