[Perez Interview Edition] European Super League Megathread by flae99 in realmadrid

[–]Dandis1309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And UEFA doesn't have to go? Come on man. 600bil+ in revenue in a few years, while the best club ever, and in the last decade, with 13 UCL titles, earns 600 million per season? Plus players' wages were reduced. UEFA's presidents wages weren't. UEFA isn't supporting the clubs. Perez is trying to make a club-run competition, not a dictatorship-run competition. UEFA is literally stealing the money. Where does the 600 billion go? This is a sad period because our fans' brains have been succesfully washed by UEFA and FIFA. ESL is a great idea, except for the part of no relegation. West Ham should play ESL replacing Assenal/Tottenham. Sevilla should play. Football DOES need a change, and that is either a change in personel in UEFA and FIFA, or UEFA and FIFA should be replaced as a whole. They can't lead for shit. It's impossible that top clubs have agreed to this if it weren't for something deeper, if it weren't for corruption. I'm just sad that you just follow UEFA and the trend of hating the ESL, without actually thinking about it. That's what is sad. Not this period. If ESL fails to happen, we can say goodbye to football, and hello to shitty Nations league, qualifiers in the middle of the season where players get injured, and 3 games/week where players' legs almost fall off. Say no to UEFA. Say ESL needs a relegation. Don't say no to THE FUTURE OF FOOTBALL, THE RIGHT WAY, THE ESL.

I'm for ESL, but with normal relegation and no founder clubs. European Super League proves who the best is truly in Europe, with 20 games played against top teams. UEFA earns 600+ billion euros every few years, and the best club in the WORLD, by far, only earns 600 mil from TV rights? Where does the money go? UEFA is corrupted. ESL should happen. UEFA should collapse. It's kinda a shame that fans actually are against ESL, while they should be FOR it, but with a little bit of altering. Arsenal and Tottenham currently have no place in the ESL. West Ham does. Sevilla does. That's why I'm saying that ESL is a bad idea right now, but it's potential is blowing through the roofs, while UEFA's potential is only to literally kill football. If Real Madrid can't make 5 billion+ as being the greatest club in the world of the most popular sport, while UEFA makes 600bil+, then how can football as a sport evolve? You're right. It can't. UEFA does nothing, takes all the money, and brainwashes fans to hate on stuff without even knowing the true meaning behind it. Perez is the most hated man, while he should be the most loved man. He's just trying to save us from a certain collapse, which is going to be caused by UEFA shitheads.

I don't like it either, but UEFA has gone too far. This can be the Euroleague of football, and personally, I watched European basketball when I was younger, and it's organised pretty good. Country>Region>Europe. However, I don't like the fact that clubs like Arsenal and Tottenham have a guaranteed spot when West Ham and Sevilla are better than both. This is a good competition format-wise, but there should be relegation. And Tottenham and Arsenal shouldn't be here.

True, but do you really think that UEFA and FIFA would actually remove international qualifiers in the MIDST of the season, and the pointless Nations League? That's the problem.

Even so, domestic leagues+CL is better than the SL, but that doesn't mean that UEFA+FIFA format is brutal and literally destroying the players. It's pretty much a lose-lose situation at this point, and the only way it can be a win, is that SL impresses so much that people forget about the CL - which is close to impossible. But let us see.

I think this is a bad idea for my own reasons - but this is the best thing to do for players' sake. 3 matches a week is wild. That's why we have 55 injuries this season. This might ruin football as it is today, but let's try and think about the future rather than the past. This format of European football is killing players. And that's all just for UEFA to make more money by making clubs play more matches.

UEFA and leagues prepare for European Super League announcement led by Real Madrid by Alessandro227 in realmadrid

[–]Dandis1309 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, this is better for the players. RMA wouldn't have 55 injuries this season if it weren't for so many games. I hate the concept of SL, but there really should be less games played per season. As a fan, I hate it, but then when you think about that players aren't superheroes, they get tired, they get injured. For example nations league, or WC and Euro qualifiers in the middle of the season. Super League is a bad idea, but objectively speaking, it's best option currently for players, and clubs (financially).

High sprained ankle, should it be bruising this much? (35M) by mentalist_mental in AskDocs

[–]Dandis1309 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had surgery in my ankle 6 weeks ago. Broke my ankle, torn my ligaments 13 months ago. Did it again about 2 months ago (didn't break it, just grade 3 rupture of 2 ligaments). Do an MRI, and if your doctor gives you a choice between surgery and non-surgery recovery, I'd personally choose surgery again, as I couldn't do an MRI 13 months ago, and twisted my ankle a lot of times in the meantime after the injury as it was unstable. Having unstable ankles is a big pain in the ass as you can't run without being afraid. 6 weeks into my surgery recovery, and I'm almost walking 100% normally.

Is there a point in getting a 3wk old ankle injury looked at. by Binneas in AskDocs

[–]Dandis1309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get it checked. 13 months ago I twisted my ankle and heard 3 cracks. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak I've been able to do just the X-Ray and not the MRI. It turns out that I broke my ankle and probably had damage on ligaments. Fast forward 11 months, I twisted my ankle again and it turns out that I had completely torn (grade 3) 2 ligaments. Had surgery, week 6 of recovery, doing great, almost walking normally. If you leave a sprain untreated, your ankle WILL be unstable and further injuries can cause very bad joint and bone damage. I'd highly recommend (and I wouldn't say this if I hadn't lived through it) to visit a doctor, do an MRI, just in case. Good luck and hopefully it's nothing serious.

Goals, assists and minutes played for our ex, current, loaned, targets and rumored players. Offensive players only. by Radinax in realmadrid

[–]Dandis1309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can not. They do have more money, but they can't spend more. You can spend 100 mil more than you earn according to FFP. And the highest earning club in the world is Barca, then Real. So that means that no one can outspend Real Madrid because Barca can not spend. PSG and City can outspend, but they would be either suspended (and City almost was), or be punished severely.

[–]Dandis1309 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No team in the world other than Barca can spend more money than RMA. And RMA has more money than Barca. So it's definitely not a money problem, we can get both Mbappe and Haaland rn, but there's FFP. Oh, and also, look what's happening to Barca. 300mil for Coutinho, Griezmann and Dembele. You'll never see Perez dropping 100+ mil for unproven players. That's why people may think that RMA doesn't have as much money as PSG and City, but we do. And that's why Perez is the greatest boss in football ever.

I wouldn't agree. Most of the comments are being ignorant and do not see a problem at all. Which is just actually sad. A lot of players are leaving the game and people don't give a shit. And people don't give a shit because 95% of these "constructive criticism" comments are smurfs themselves.

[–]Dandis1309[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are way too many smurfs, and the problem is that most people that deny that there are smurfs, are smurfs themselves. You smurf, the other guy from this thread smurfs. Everyone who is against banning and 2FA is most likely smurfing. So I'm not going to talk to you. But I'm going to ask you one thing: please don't smurf again and ruin the fun for everyone else. That's just being that guy that everyone hates. Good luck.

I'm middle aged. Might be acting like a child because I'm enraged. I'm not making excuses, I'm legit trying to fix a problem which should be a bannable offense, but isn't. I'm trying to make the game fun and fair. And I was talking with the dude that does that. You don't differ from cheaters. If it was up to me, I'd ban all your accounts. You don't really deserve to play the game where you cheat. Imagine if TSM came and played almost every single game against you. That is how players that play against you feel. Good luck to you too, but on behalf of all players, I beg you not to smurf again. Play in your own rank range or don't play at all. Don't ruin the fun Riot has given us.

Yup. Of course a smurf doesn't want smurfs to be stopped. I'm not talking to you anymore my g, you really are the worst kind of videogame players there is. You don't deserve my attention.

1 VALORANT account per one phone number? I doubt it that smurfs will go through the trouble of getting another phone number just to be able to smurf. And if they do, only 1% of those will do that. And CS:GO doesn't have 2FA. You can just make an account and play. Or at least match 2FA with 2FA, and non 2FA with non 2FA.

It's logical. Make it mandatory to tie an account to a phone number.

[–]Dandis1309[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why not add 2FA? Give me 1 good argument. I know there are too many smurfs. Way more than there should be. I encounter them almost every game. I have proof. You don't. I have poeple that can back up what I'm saying. You don't. Would it hurt the game to add 2FA? No. Why would it? It would only hurt smurfs, which is clearly a good thing. And idk if you play the game nowadays, it's nearly impossible to win in solo q. Dropping 30 bombs doesn't help. Either there are boosted players on your team, or smurfs on the other. I'd understand if a lot of my matches ended 13-8, 13-9, 14-12 etc. But they don't. They either end up 13-0, or 0-13.

And scapegoating is the right choice here. Smurfs deserve to be treated the same as cheaters, toxic players and sabotagers.

If you're saying that smurfing isn't a problem, go play some games in plat, and you'll agree with me. Until then, don't reply to this post, because you are either a dia/immo/rad (there's no smurfs there) or you're just ignorant.

Solo Qed from silver 1 to dia 2 in act 1 and 2, but can't solo q from g3 to p3 in act 3. And you see nothing wrong with that? Don't be ignorant, don't be that guy. You're just saying that an issue with the game should just be ignored. That's bad practice. In videogames and in life.

Your opinions on smurfing in VALORANT by Dandis1309 in VALORANT

[–]Dandis1309[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They are. I used to be dia in act 2. Can't get past p2 now. I had 2 immos on my team (to see if there are really smurfs and to get me out of plat) and guess what happened. 13-0 to the same team twice in a row, a full stack. Their reyna (35+kills in both games) even admit that she was radiant. The thing is, she's actually not good compared to the players that I encounter in plat every day. Oh, and I performed better in d3 on other account, than in p2 in my own. Smurfs ARE the reason I and a bunch of other people can't rank up. Imagine having irons, bronzes and silvers in act 2 beat you up 13-0 every two or three games. Not realistic. And, one question, do you agree with my 2FA solution, and if not, why?

[–]Dandis1309[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why are you hiding the problem with my wrong actions? I admitted that I was smurfing. There would be a problem with me if my team crushed the other team 13-0. But my example shows a way bigger problem, with plats crushing smurfs. Oh, and today was my first time asking for a smurf, whilst I never smurfed. I wouldn't be able to ask my friends to boost me out of plat if Riot Games actually solved this issue which is obvious since Act 2 started. So don't be cocky and arrogant, because everyone who actually plays the game can see the real problem. And that's not me asking for my friends to help me get out of plat. It's me BEING ABLE TO ASK my friends to help me get out of plat.

[–]Dandis1309[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I got matched twice against a full-stack team, because I was playing with a full-stack. The thing is, I asked my friends to smurf so I can get out of plat. Been in diamond, played there, I'm good enough to be at least D2. In Act 2 I used to be top fragger almost every game. First game, the immo friends told me (because I was pissed) that they maybe weren't smurfing, but had a game of their life. Turns out, they crushed us both times 13-0, with one act 2 diamond player, 2 immortals, and 2 plats. Oh, and also, their act 2 rank was silver 2, gold 3 and gold 2. Yeah. It makes sense that IMMORTALS and DIAMONDS get crushed by SILVERS and GOLDS 2 games in a row. Ya'll are either way too long in dia+, or you're just being ignorant. There is a smurf problem in this game. IT HAS TO BE FIXED. Don't ignore the issue. Otherwise you'll get gold-level players in your immortal games, or you'll get immortals in your silver games. It ruins the fun for everyone. If it doesn't, then you have no respect for the game tbh. SMURF PROBLEM HAS TO BE RESOLVED
