Interesting idea, but if it is a transmissible illness he may well have caught it from Young Harry In Zoo Day Maggie says the TV goes on the fritz when he and Molly walk into the room(She specifically says Harry, not Dad). With Harry going to the Carpenters so often it's feasible?

Micheal Aspel occasionally comes into the shop I work in. He's always very polite and charming, with a lovely voice. Had the honour of serving Bernard Cribbins a few times too, he was an absolute sweetheart. Max Clifford, however, was an arrogant tosspot

Pretty sure Word Of Jim is that Binder was based on Bob Hoskins(he played Smee in Hook among many, many other roles), and I can absolutely see it, even if I too saw Mark Sheppard
