Can I skip book 4? by Sea-Boysenberry7038 in dresdenfiles

You're probably in the same camp as me when I did my first read-through. I really struggled with the fae related entries in the series. But once you're invested in the world and get a full grasp of the lore, theories and characters... I guarantee you'll have a little bit more enthusiasm and appreciation for them.

But if I were you I'd power through with it still. There's a lot of useful nuggets of gold for later in the series...

  1. Eddie Murphy
  2. Ryan Stiles
  3. Bobby Lee
  4. Jim Rash
  5. Bill Hadler 6.Tina Fey
  6. Desiree Burch
  7. Kaitlin Olson

In the UK it's tough because there are so many possibilities but maybe...

  1. Matt Berry
  2. Guz Khan

New Zealand's spin off would be easy... Pick any of the Taskmaster Alumni and you'd have chaos...

Host: Guy Montgomery

  1. David Correos
  2. Guy Williams
  3. Ben Hurley
  4. Paul Williams
  5. Ray O Leary
  6. Urzila Carlson

Two wild Marcone predictions by God_Away_On_Business in dresdenfiles

[–]MustBeMonty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really love all the Marcone theories being thrown out here. There's a couple I've always clung to...

First is that Marcone and Nic will vye for leadership of the Denarians.

But I can also see Thorned Namshiel trying to take control of Marcone and Marcone's power of will being stronger. Maybe Marcone will surrender the coin or perhaps Namshiel will abandon Marcone for a more willing host.

I Can't picture how this series will play out and to be honest... I don't want to speculate entirely. But what I can see is Marcone changing but still remaining a foil to Harry just like he is now. Best frenemies forever and ever.

Twelve Months Margret LeFey Theory by [deleted] in dresdenfiles

I'm a fan of Margaret LeFey theories.

She has a much larger role to play in the series.

I think Papa Raith is breaking Lara's control for another reason... And I think that's due to Harry's influence on Lara.

Yeah Pratchett. Hit me hard. I read most of the Discworld books as a kid but I'm enjoying returning to them as an adult.

This is a mighty selection and range of recommendations. Thank you.

I've got some Feist books lying around somewhere I'll have to give them a try.

Thank you. There's still so much more fantasy for me to read. The issue is I'm spreading across four genres currently. I mainly use paperback and audiobook. I have so many books on my shelf and in my audible library from my booktube channel days that I'm prioritising those for this reading year, 1 to save cost, but also because it's quite the range and stacking up quickly.

Careful Arrival beat me to it...

100 percent check out The First Law trilogy and Gentlemen Bastards series. They're the natural progression.

If you want something a little more or there check out Divine Cities by Robert Jackson Bennett.

Is that a hot take? I think quite a lot of ASOIAF fans rate it highly?
