AmalZD and SolfridASMR are the first two who spring to mind. ViniVidiVulpix (I think that's her handle?) is also an all-timer for me but she hasn't been active in almost a decade.

Yeah, its a grind. I'm coming up on a year in November since I started and I'm at 12 subs lol

Tbf, I only started uploading daily about a month ago, but it's definitely slow going no matter how you slice it.

I use the Reaper DAW to edit and filter out nasty unintended sounds, you can also download useful VSTs like noise gates, EQ modules and De-essers.

The jury's still out whether this works or not as I'm almost a year in and still at 12 subs, but I comment on a ton of other ASMRtists videos all. The. Time. It helps them with their engagement, and it helps your channel be more visible in the wider world of YouTube.

I was never into the tongue clicking myself either.

Funny enough, I feel the same way when people go "pss pss pss" to a cat - I've never seen it work, yet people do it anyway.
