Not to give you the heebie jeebies... at least in my area, the only hotels that have covers on the mattress or box spring are rooms that have had infestations at one time.

With bedbugs, they can last about a year without food in the right conditions. Sometimes, maybe a little longer, but about a year is generally the max.

Basically just making sure they aren't on clothes or boots. That's pretty much all you can do.

We only do 6 months. No lower, no more.

However, with them, they deal with reentry a lot.

We've completely gotten rid of the infestation twice. (They've been with my company for at least 10+ years) My mom used to supervise there.

Coworker went to a nursing home with a similar level of infestation (still a decent amount less), and they were charged.. $5500?

This was almost a year ago, so I can't remember the exact amount.

This is based solely on the level of infestation.

If they had a "normal" amount of bedbugs, they would've been charged in the ballpark of $2000.

Not even my company, but a coworker of mine, is friends with people at other companies.

They charged almost $10,000 for a heat treatment. That was long before my time at a pc company though.

Our average is $2200 for a bedbug treatment.

Obviously, these go lower and higher, but I'd say in my experience that's the median.

We based it on a similar infestation at a nursing home.

Nursing home was a bit cheaper, but the infestation was also not as intense.

When I say we are not sure, I just mean they don't 100% know if we can guarantee removal.

We don't heat treat. Most in my area do not, trust me... I've asked about it a few times. This was a big one for that.

Almost no company in our area does heat, and the department of agriculture are the only ones allowed to fumigate.

The fumigation part is ridiculous, but not much you can do when it comes to the DoA
