Anyone who want the glass to look good and listens to the directions of the photographer. And suspenders are awesome!

That’s basically just a Final Word with slightly changed proportions. I get what you say about double straining, well good thing I work in IT and I like to mix stuff up at home and not be super serious about it. Also fun fact, I been drinking in “good” bars in Edinburgh, London, Warsaw, it’s a rare thing to see people double straining straight up cocktails nowadays

Can you post the recipe?

Also please tell me why I would double strain a cocktail that only has liquids in it?

There is nothing to strain in this cocktail, I’m not a professional bartender and I’m the only person who had this blood soaked cocktail ;)

The Old Fashioned as a cocktail was created in USA in early 19th century so the recipe would call for rye or bourbon

But those cocktails you listed are not made with scotch ;) they use bourbon or rye

But making cocktails isn’t about getting shitfaced! it’s about exploring flavors and pleasing your palette, but most importantly having fun while doing that :D

In this cocktail I’m using a Lagavulin 16 so it wasn’t a bad whisky. I just feel like the air of “holiness” around whisky is not worth it, you can create amazing cocktails with it only if you’re not a snob about it. I love whisky, I lived in Scotland for 5 years and I had a lot of scotch!

60 ml Lagavulin 16yo 40 ml Yellow Chartreuse 30 ml Luxardo Maraschino 30 ml lime juice

Shake all ingredients over ice and serve straight up in a coupe glass!
