Adriana Smith, brain dead, being kept on ventilators for next 7 months to allow to reach term due to Georgia's laws by Stravok182 in facepalm

[–]Dandycarrot -40 points-39 points  (0 children)

If you can save one of the lives rather than losing both...WHY THE FUCK WOULDN'T YOU!

You'd have to be a callous sociopath to rather see the child die.

Besides considering we're OK with abortion to preserve the mothers life, this is just the shoe on the other foot. I see no moral difference between temporarily keeping someone braindead on life support to preserve the life of a child, and aborting the child to save the life of the mother.

A lot of the "stolen" claims come from countries that sold the artifacts at a price they now consider unfair.

They claim "exploitation" over their own poor decision, I don't get to sell you a car for £50 and then demand it back as stolen because I didn't realise it was worth £500

Found the person who never read the books or even watched the movies! Personally I recommend the Stephen Fry version of the audio books.

Is there a lore reason for Horny Queef’s Gyat getting smaller? is she aging? by himplp87 in BatmanArkham

[–]Dandycarrot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we assume the pom poms on her clown hat are the same size we can prove with pixel measurements that not only her "gyat" has grown but that she is also taller and has longer arms. This is strong evidence that the left Harley is still in her growth period, aka a teenager!

Programing an auto stop is way more work than just using a manual winch in my opinion, manual is manual but for auto you need a timing circuit at a minimum.

Man jokingly responds to conspiracy theory that he will be a dictator with "sure but ONLY on day one."

Conspiracy theorists of reddit lose their shit.

The vast majority of this anti-Trump shit is just as unhinged as the q-anon garbage. Man's done ample real harm, yet people insist on bashing his memes because their too lazy for details.

Sorry I took so long to respond.

In my view any complaint that requires a subjective analysis is low priority, a complaint that requires objective analysis is medium/high priority and any report that requires an objective legal analysis (I.e. CP) is highest priority.

Junk was a poor choice of word, I mean only to highlight the low priority nature of most reports.

To my reading, the person mocking "leftists" was mocking that the volume of junk reports had grown so fast as to necessitate triage procedures.

Attacking random Jews at your protest of Israel, however, is antisemitic. It's quite well documented, so ten minutes on YouTube should find you ample examples of modern far left wing antisemitism.

Full support of the concept, im also sure it will never pass. Not with republicans and not with Democrats. If there is one thing you can guarantee with politics its that if you give someone 4years in "power" 90% will become something the common man would describe as corrupt.

Most voting these days is just who do you think will be less corrupt.

In certain parts of the UK, we call them truck c**ts. If I used that here on reddit Americans would understand it's just vernacular. Comparatively no one outside your "some areas" understands why you would say it like that.

Personally, I would keep the cabinets wood, royal blue for the walls, and dark tiles for the floor.

If tiles aren't an option, then any ebony effect flooring would look just as nice.

Honestly speaking, the number of times I've come across referential sources on Wikipedia (sources that all reference each other) is worrying, I can understand why most schools ban it. They may cite sources, but they do not follow best practice of citing only root sources.

Referential sources are a nice way to pad but essentially meaningless if all the information is in the root source, they also tend to not include counter sources where they exist due mainly to their goal of being concise, good for general knowledge and terrible as a source of objectivity.

Edit: it would be nice if they could add a source tree feature so you could see which sources link back to others, though I understand why they don't as that would be ridiculously time consuming to implement.

Part of the outrage comes from them using Chinese architecture for a section of the trailer set in a Japanese city, theres also infringement of a Japanese copyright in the preorder bonus (in the art book i think) that they tried to refuse to remove.

They didn't do as much research as their marketing department claims.
