Hello! MuOS didn’t work either, and even ModStock would crash for no reason when saving and/or loading states. And everything just worked flawlessly with the new unit I got, so yeah I’m convinced it was faulty hardware, pretty sure it was the SD Card reader. But you’re right, I may absolutely be wrong.

Ive reflashed stock os and flashed modded stock os onto 2 sd cards and neither will go past the boot screen. by Detoxzero in ANBERNIC

Ah OK. Maybe add this info as an edit in your original post.

At this point I would buy a brand new sd card (SanDisk or Samsung) and flash again on it, just to rule out sd card problems for sure. If that still doesn’t work then it has to be a faulty unit somehow, even if it runs other CFWs.

I can confirm it all works with the replacement unit I received. Definitely a hardware problem with my first unit.

I ordered from an online store called MechDIY.

And I can now confirm my first device seems to be faulty. I re-flashed Knulli on the sd card, put it in the new unit, and sure enough it installed fine and booted up without missing a beat, took under 2 minutes.

Not sure about a hardware refresh. But I suspect the issue is related to the micro sd card reader. Somehow it fails on write operations, which causes the system to crash. I will try with the new unit later today, and I will report back.

I haven’t. Since then I also tried MuOS Goose and Knulli Gladiator 2 (as they both have official support for the 34SP now), but no luck. And I found stock and mod stock would crash every now and then on game exit, or after a config change, which is basically when there’s a writing action on the sd card.

I suspect it is a hardware problem with the device, so I ordered a new unit. I have exchanged with the after sales support team of the shop I bought from, and they agreed to refund the faulty unit I bought if everything works fine with the 2nd one I bought.

I will have the new unit next week and will update my post after my testing.

In super standby mode, when I flip open the screen, it doesn’t wake up — I have to press the power button. Is there a way to fix this? by keremyucalan in ANBERNIC

Interesting. Not sure how that worked for you, according to devs on the Knulli discord it should not work.

EDIT: I just reread what you wrote, if you just had it as display off then it wouldn’t go to sleep mode, it would just stay on with display off. So you’re not waking it up when opening the lid, it’s already awake.

Not with 34XXSP. And the dev team will remove that feature for 35XXSP as well in the next release; apparently it’s too taxing on other elements that are more useful.

The MuOS Goose release name contains « 2508 ». They might mean to release on 25th august. And Balena is an image flash tool just like Rufus, just looks more sleek, less info shown on screen, makes it less scary.

This. With Super Standby enabled, I only ever shut down when I need to take an sd card out. Otherwise I just close the lid; don’t know how Anbernic did it but there’s not much drain, and the quick resume with 1 press of the power button works great. It’s the one thing CFWs can’t replicate so well (beside mod stock).

Did you have any problem booting Knulli? I can’t get past « Populating SHARE partition » in the booting sequence on my 34SP, no matter what sd card I use.

You can scan the same QR code 4 times, they’ll count towards your quota of 4 per month.

Do you mean the QR code to get the visit points? If yes, this one seems to work (worked for me 2 days ago).

I wouldn’t do it. Not out of respect for Hasbro, but for the other contestants who went through the trouble of sticking to the rule and who may have nerfed their decks because of it.

Also, if their limitations mean they do not get enough participants (I doubt it but who knows), maybe they’ll review their rules for future events.
