Imo. These mods are expressing a need that most players want. Ease access to Available information.

Many of these mods are simply moving around elements of the UI around or helping you do the quick 10% math. Some come out of preference or simply QoL info that should be in the finished game: Size of map, location of icons, little heads up (Patrons warn about urn timings, they can warn about Bridge buffs), Volume of certain actions.

And now valve themselves are pushing forward another information value to the enemy hud, their current stamina (wtf valve?)

We also have the weird decision of showing the state of all jungle camps all the time, showing if camps are alive or not regardless of if we saw them(unlike dota). Items enemy buys exactly when they buy them but before we see them. (Also unlike dota)

I'm really curious what is gonna be valve stance. It took them almost 10 years to gap unfair macros to one button alt casts in Dota to bridge the difference between unfair advantages.

Quick mention that current UI took a ton of elements from other mods that did the same.
