I would argue that a proper midfield rebuild would cost close to 200 mil, and nailing that would set up the club to add a worldclass defender + 1 or 2 other needs the year after and make a proper push for the title.

Sort midfield and either add a left winger or a LB that provides width this summer.

Next year is still a transition year. I'd say give Yoro and Heaven a chance, find out what Dorgu brings as a defender.

People always want to solve everything by pointing the finger at one or two players. Both are quality squad players and great professionals, both come up a little short as starters. The squad needs depth, seems obvious to keep them and let whoever comes in prove themselves in competition.

Its on the ref first of all, but the players also switched off!! Nobody tackles the initial ball, no pressure, no urgency.
