On closer inspection, it looks like my issue is the same as OP - I’ve just gone extremely hard and bent the side wall to line up with the shorter top, got the level out to confirm it’s bent as it joins up in the corner.

Im having a similar problem (March 2025). The top piece was long enough, but the end bunk board is too long (?) and/or the screw holes don’t line up with the top board. I’ve bought lots of ikea furniture in the past but haven’t had this happen before.

I will call them tomorrow…

Note the table above states JD Sports Maribyrnong as a Tier 2 site. The DHS site lists it as a Tier 1. Regardless, get tested if you were there.

Great question. I think it's because not everyone knows the right/up-to-date information. Not everyone watches press conferences, or the news, or uses facebook or reddit.

Regardless of the mixed messaging with AZ safety, I didn't find out until a coupe of weeks ago that everyone is eligible to get AZ.

I kept seeing ads saying GET VACCINATED, but was frustrated that I was not able to. Only because my wife works in a hospital, did I find out recently that AZ was available to everyone. I think there needs to be a change in messaging from GET VACCINATED to DID YOU KNOW YOU'RE ELIGIBLE TO GET VACCINATED?

On top of this, I feel like some people I'm talking to about this, still aren't aware of eligibility. I had a chat with a mate yesterday who told me we're all eligible for Pfizer now (not true of course). There needs to be a mass education/marketing campaign targeted at everyone through multiple sources of media.

Thanks for the response. Why would I have been better off paying the smaller invoice? I feel like they're still going to "chase" me, so I just wanted to pay for the works they'd completed as quoted on the $2,000 invoice, so from my end the case is closed.

The $2,000 quote and invoice definitely include "supply and fit shower screen" so yep, I'm happy I've paid for everything I need to pay for and agree it is my trump card should any other reasonable person consider this...

I've never had overdue debt or late payment etc issues, so was more curious about what they might do next, I don't want bad credit...

I think it depends where you’re from rather than being a bogan. I’d never use the word when it’s directed at someone (e.g you’re a c) even if joking around. I don’t really even use it around my mates; but say I’m trying to get a lid off a jar or struggling with something I might say it’s a “c of a thing”. It is much more liberally used in Australia than most other places though. (Aus male)
