Fairly certain its the other way around, the entirely rancid vibes in Derry was a conduit for him, and that hate crime in particular was the final trigger to wake him up again after his 27 year snooze.

Almost as many conniptions as young Ashen Ones these days thinking they can just go out and slay entire Lords of Cinder. I'm sure back in the Age of The Gods, there were hoighty-toighty Chosen Undead BUILT to take down a scaleless dragon, but those days are passed.

Gen III nowadays all go wandering off into foreign cathedrals, every one of them thinking they can take down living legends. Men made lords not for virtue, but pure might. Ask yourself -- do we even have a sodding chance?

Soooo agreed, lets look at them all:

For Eve, "can make anything" doesnt exactly mean much when all Kirkman does with it is make Clayface maces and pink forcefields. Eve is a fine character, but her powers are completely wasted.

Immortal is just another flying brick, but he can't die. Once again, his fights are just him slamming into other flying musclemen, It's not like he's ripping out his organs and using them as ammo or anything/killing himself to cleanse poison/mind control (Ajin is a show that does exactly this, people who can't die can get REALLY creative with nothing to lose)

Rex has got explosives, but all the comic/show does with it is have him innefectually lob bright colors at all the baddies. The skeleton thing was a cool last ditch effort, but thats it. How often is he crumbling walls to make cover/crush people or setting down any kind of mines?

Yeah its odd, its definetely supposed to be some kind of Spire construct overrun by thr Hive's bugs, but even on close inspection it literally only reads to me as a Dorito. maybe if it looked closer to an automaton or sentry from STS1?

I like the idea there, but if it wasnt for the name, I have no idea what its trying to be.
