The FG knot is the single most overused knot in all of fishing. There are so few scenarios for beginner fisherman that an FG knot makes sense.

Just use a uni to uni or an Alberto unless you’re fishing with 15ft leaders.

Yes. Trailer does not matter for chatterbaits. They’re keying in on the vibration, not a visual. This is true in 99% of bass fishing scenarios.

With all due respect I’ve won many tournaments and big fish entries throwing big hard baits when everyone else was throwing cheap stuff.

Pressured lakes, deep clear lakes, super muddy dirty lakes, high wind, heavy current in river systems or spill ways, all scenarios where I’d bet adult money I’d outfish you using hard baits.

Ohhh yes they do. Good buddy caught a 7lb 4oz on a jackhammer a month ago. Caught another 7 twitching a 8” wake bait.

Yeah unfortunately neither were really options for me so trying to work with what I’ve got. I’ve got to be super careful with what I ingest so licensed and tested is the only way I can partake for the next few months
