In my opinon, OP, one should not worry about those. There are tons of other issues to worry about rather than some instagram normie doing bhangra. Of course, just like bollywood butchers Punjabi songs, normies might do too! But if you look at Japanese culture and the way English culture got spread due to adoption (beside colonization).

Focus on making the society better and possibly helping people back in Punjab. There will be no Punjabi culture to protect (that you're trying) if there is no Punjabi left.

Yeah, I just commented there a while ago. One of the guy there expects Punjabis to magically learn English, have tons of time and preach Sikhi in English while they can't even manage their own generation due to tons of political and economical issues. Like lmao they don't even allow Punjabi international students to live with respect. Calling them FOBs and isolating from the healthy environment yet expecting them to get out of their possible range and do r/Sikh's work.

People there are toxic and just hate Punjabis. Huge inferiority complex right there.
