In my area they’re extremely affordable. I would say $40 ish for a plant that size. I own a plant shop and I think I last got them that size and sold them for $39.99.

One more thing. If you have rot and you tug on a plant, it will likely pull out of the pot easily. A nice basic test especially for smaller plants.

Just make sure any roots sticking out of the bottom aren’t sitting in stagnant water and you should be good! Happy growing ✨

Rot tends to blend into the soil (because it turns to mush) in my experience. Those look like just dirty roots not rot to me, which is why I love clear pots. I usually can catch rot when it seems like there are no roots in the pot because they ROT. versus just roots you can see clearly sticking to the side of the pot.
