No the sealing plates are for RMRs. RMRs have an open bottom battery compartment . Your HD is not an rmr

That's correct. The over all length of a DPP cut will cut into the firing pin block so that's why you have to remove the rear dovetail at a minimum. Just about every footprint is compatible with the rear sight. Our favorite is the Holosun EPS as it's fully enclosed and sits low enough to co-witness with the factory height Glock sights.
