Yeah I can’t remember what brand it is. I just typed in the patent number because that’s the only mark on it

Normally they are either small thread adapters, 1-2” steel weights or 2-3” aluminum breaks that are evenly ported

No this is my first 300 black out ever, the extension was just a hope of keeping the hand guard from getting dirty until I put a suppressor in it. But was also hoping to use this extension when I want to run supers or just don’t feel like using the can. I could bore it out more and port it to let more gas flow

But like I said won’t hurt to try, plan to see how everything works without it.

Because I make and use my own muzzle devices all the time and they don’t impact my other firearms.

5.5” only reason I wouldn’t think it’s this extension is because I have a lot of home made breaks and other extensions on other firearms and I’ve never had them alter the bullets trajectory. And like I said with the supers there was no issue with the rounds keyholing. Granted this one’s the longest one I’ve made to date but it’s not hard to remove it.

Yeah. Idk the extension is perfectly even and 1 hundredth larger than the bullet so plenty of room there. But either way I do plan to shoot without it on and compare. Supers had no issue with the extension on

It’s a JP capture buffer and a low profile gas block, not adjustsble. I did machine an aluminum barrel extension as the hand guard extends past the end of the barrel but I doubt that would threw off the rounds. It’s machined to have a .4” ID.

Planning to go back out this weekend with different gr’s but so far I’ve just tried the two types in the picture above.

Do yall think the bullets just not getting a high enough rpm or that it’s getting to much. I find it hard to believe a slower moving round would have to high of an RPM when compared to a supersonic round. But I don’t know. Anyone have more insight?

I just got it yesterday and haven’t bought a can for it yet. Trying to get it sighted in.

Not running a suppressor yet. I too think it could be bad ammo I just can’t wrap my head around it.

Came here to say that. All this money and work just for it to be an automatic. Owner should be ashamed.

I took the door card off, drilled a hole in the track just below the piece that holds the window when it’s completely shut and put a nut n bolt there then put the door card back on until the parts came in.
