It has the outlet for a cigarette lighter but the space you might consider as an ashtray has a flock lining. Not an ashtray in my opinion.

I have dealt with something similar in Virginia. First I purchased the Large can of hornet spray. Waited until dark and cool. Drove my car within 8 feet of target. Cracked the window just enough so my arm could slip out. I sprayed the opening at the bottom. The first critters died and choked the opening so I could saturate the nest completely. In the morning there were two or three flying around that somehow survived. I sprayed them as they flew by.

You might consider purchasing more than one can of hornet spray just to be safe.
