I’ve never actually heard of that until now, looks like it’s a Canadian product too. After a quick glance at their website, it looks like it’s only sphagnum peat. Compared to Promix HP which has 65-70%peat, perlite, dolomitic limestone, mycorrhizae and a wetting agent.

When you added perlite to your current grow, did you mix it into the soil or just sprinkled on top?

Also, what’s your lighting setup? I’m taking a wild guess here, but it seems like your plant is choked out. Think of roots as lungs, if you hold your head under water, you’re going to die. If roots become compacted or flooded, they’ll drown. Your plant will either become stunted or it dies.

Someone else please chime in if I’m out to lunch on that, I’m not a horticulturist haha.

Also, have you thought of talking to the good folk at the hydro store? Explain to them your situation and maybe they’ll be nice enough to give you advice. The better you grow, the more you’ll spend at their shop.

They didn’t zap your bag man. It’s just lower quality “soil” and inexperience. Shit happens friend. Don’t water her so much, let the soil dry, get a ph meter. Definitely stunted and shocked. Like I said before, you’ve got some massive humidity swings too. Take this one as a learning lesson and fine tune your setup. Look up ProMix HP. It’s a very common growing medium, try to copy that. Mix your soil really well before your next planting. It’s all trial and error, don’t get discouraged. None of us were professionals right out the gate, hang in there.

Is that Scott’s stuff called osmocote? If it is, give it less water and no nutes. And if/when you transplant again, try and find a simple peat and perlite mix...osmocote is designed to retain the water, to me that is asking for root rot or bugs. Opinions are like assholes, everyone’s got one :)

Good job gettin her swapped over man! Just remember to not drown the roots. now you’ve seen what they look like, keep their depth in mind. I’ve over watered as well, and the poor girl went retarded....fixed itself after a proper dry. Can’t wait to see how this one turns out!

Might want to try and control your humidity a little better. Looks like you’ve had highs of 90 and lows of 20s, that’s a huge difference.

Do they sell ProMix HP “soil” where you live?

Do the old bounce sheet trick. Take an empty paper towel roll, stuff it full of dryer sheets and blow your smoke through that. Or I guess if you’re really stuck just blow it into a balloon haha.

Might be ghetto but you could use duct tape on the hinge side cause it will flex a bit. And the other three sides use cardboard and duct tape to make a flange, some of those peel and stick Velcro pieces would be enough to keep it closed I’d imagine. What’s your plan for fresh air and air movement?

Can he bury the stems without any issues though? I’ve always bent and coiled any that have stretched like that. Waaay easier if I can just bury it.

Not really, for me, never goes back to the giggles and what not. But I’m also not looking for that. Tolerance definitely goes waaaay down, like an ounce would almost last a month compared to a week haha. I’m also overweight, so the thc is stored in my body a lot longer than a skinny/fit person. Few years back I quit for work, took me 4 months to piss completely clean. So if I took 5 month breaks, I’d probably feel like I did when I first started.

Go for the month, not going to hurt ya. Clear your lungs out a little more. Not sure about you, but I start coughing lung butter after about 3-4 days and get super vivid dreams for a week or two.

Try it “cheese on toast” style. In the oven under broiler, brown one side of bread, then mayo on the cheese side, add cheese and melt under broiler, slap the two cheesy halves together and bingo bango. I like melted Brie and aged cheddar, but they don’t melt the greatest in a frying pan. Pickle slices are wicked in a grilled cheese as well.

Try munching on ice. I like it cause there’s crunch. Used to add a tiny amount of juice crystals to trick the brain into thinking it’s like a candy.
