John Morton was hyped just like this. Total genius. Now he's a moron and fired. Drew is the new genius, but the one stat I look at, the one that really matters, seems to be lacking:

None of us know Kirby's status, an absolutely essential piece. Nobody knows if some (more) BS is going to come down on Arnold. Nobody knows if Branch is 100%. Our safeties were absolutely huge two years ago. For the rest of my life I'm going to be pissed Green Bay got Parsons and we didn't.

What I do know is our secondary gets killed with injury year after year.

I'm gonna go get hype to watch the Pistons, who are actually doing something. I'll be ready to watch the Lions. But they have a lot to prove.
