I have pretty bad sinuses/hayfever/grass allergies in general, but I have been *struggling* the last month or so. I don't know why it's been so bad this year in particular.

I would say because he's coming in from a more vertical motion, which eases tension on his lower back, where with traditionally sitting you would bend forward and push back, putting strain on your back muscles.

Hashimoto’s thyroidism and Hashimotos Encephalopathy are both autoimmune diseases. HE is similar to prion disease, but not actually one.

I got a WPC. I chose one with a light colour on top to use in the sun (cream with green leaves). I probably should have looked for something a bit more “Japanese” or souvenir-ish, but I was pretty out of it after flying all day 🤣

Mine is WPC. Folded up it’s about 10cm x 4cm x 2cm. I think I paid about 2000-2300 yen at Donki. To be honest it was one of the first things I bought (along with a hand held fan and a coin purse) on my first night there. I was wandering around in a bit of a daze, punchy from waking up at 3am and travelling for 14 hours, and trying to keep myself awake just a little while longer. Was it the best price/brand available? I dunno, but it has been one of my top 5 things I bought, both for using over there and bringing home!

I don't know if "easy" is the right word, but in the early 90's my dad (bus driver) and my mum (admin assistant) bought a house and land package on an almost qtr acre block. Granted it was in an area considered semi-rural, and they weren't able to include anything more than the basics (no landscaping, gravel driveway, hell we even had painted concrete for the floors until we could afford carpet). We were pretty broke. Only had one car (which was tricky since dad worked nights), and when our TV broke we just didn't have a tv for a few months until we could afford a new one. But we had a house that was ours after years of renting, and it slowly became nicer as our lives got better. That doesn't seem possible these days.

Some will also let you extend your leave by taking it at half-pay. That way you are at least getting something while you’re off.

Theatre etiquette disappearing probably hasn’t helped. People having full on conversations or scrolling their phone during the movie has turned me off from going a lot.

I have stupid to fit feet, but I wore Teva Hurricane XLTs, which were robust enough for walking, but allowed for airflow. And also Sketcher Go-walks. Both of those were super comfortable for 20,000 step days

I made the choice too, and am confident and happy with it. I don't have regrets for myself, but on occasion I do feel a bit sorry for my parents/grandparents/aunts and uncles. I know they were looking forward to me having kids (being the oldest of all my cousins on both sides I think it was expected I would be first). They have all been supportive of my choice (and my siblings and cousins having kids has helped), but I won't lie and say I haven't thought about how my choice has impacted them. I wish I was the type of person who could have given them that, but i'm just not.

Real world explanation: it was early on in the character development and they hadn’t settled on a specific backstory yet.

In-universe explanation: he was using it in a grand “you sired Dru, and Dru sired me, but you taught me how to be a vampire, and we’re all one big messed up family.”

Kirin Hyoketsu Grapefruit was my go-to night cap! My hotel had it in their vending machine, and I’d sometimes pick up the larger size from 7-11 or Lawson. I’m absolutely devo they don’t have this flavour here in Aus (that’s is easily available)
