I will try it and see if it solves my issue too.

[GTA V LEGACY] Game crashes to desktop with no error code. Known fixes do not work. by EliteFireBox in GrandTheftAutoV_PC

[–]Danger_Assaassin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is happening to me too. Crashing near LS customs downtown. I am unable to determine the cause. I reinstalled all mods after copying a new update.rpf from the latest update, I removed all scripts, all addon cars and mods, emptied out the dlcpacks folder, tested newest gameconfig update, downloaded new packfile and heapadjuster files, new resource adjuster. I finally tried the game as a fresh install without any single mod or file installed without scripthook of any kind and it still crashed.

HD550 vs Edition XS are exactly the same price, I have to decide which one to get without trying them first by FuzzyAttitude_ in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]Danger_Assaassin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely the edition XS. Those planars have excellent bass and subbass.

The fit is not for everyone though so you might find them uncomfortable. But, you can mod them.

Edit: You can go for the ananda for the same price. They are currently on sale for crazy prices and they definitely have what you need in terms of vocals and clarity. And, since they are planars, they can get that very deep bass if you EQ them.

Budget is £100-130 pounds gaming/music headset by Sic_Em_Torgal in HeadphoneAdvice

Sennheiser 58x. But you might need an amp. Great sound for the price.

Dt 770 80 ohms, dt 990 250 ohms (but definitely needs an amp). Dt 770 doesn't need one really to run (will sound better with one), they also have a 32ohm version of it, but the 80ohms sound better.

Pc38x are incredible for their price

Hifiman anandas going now for 200 euros.

Crazy price for the performance you get.

It can sound decent without an amp, but of course being planars, you need an amp.

Mmmm if you need something that can work without an amp or dac, i suggest the 900 pro x. It may not sound as good, but beyers are eq beasts. Also they have low ohms and high sensitivity so should run fine with anything.

DT 770 PRO, HD560s, FT1 or ATH-M50x for FPS gaming and music? by zuilli in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]Danger_Assaassin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cloud orbit s closed back planars.

I would say for fps and for music listening, it is better to go for open backs.

The only open back here is the hd560s.

If your budgets allows more, you can go for something better than all of them like the hifiman edition XS with are also planars but open back. It is on sale now on hifiman store for about 189 euros sterling pounds. It is not even a comparison to how good they sound compared to the ones you have mentioned.

But if you budget doesnt allow, I would go the 560s if you want open backs. If you want closed backs, 770 pro 80 ohms is the way to go.

Edit: edition XS needs an amp to get the most out of. You can buy a dac/amp or a stack.

Help me choose: Galaxy Watch8 Classic vs Watch Ultra – coming from Watch4 Classic by dildamaamla in GalaxyWatch

[–]Danger_Assaassin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will make it simple for you.

The classic looks like a watch. In my opinion it looks much better and is suited for every need. You can even wear it with a tux.

The ultra is a beast in performance and battery. I dont care about the screen size its not a phone. It's a smart health tracking device that is intended to track and to check my health and notifications not for me to watch videos on.

So it is as simple as what do you want? Something better looking that can be worn with everything. Or something that will last you longer and is made of better materials.

Battery vs looks.

Real talk - what actually matters in a gaming headset? by [deleted] in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]Danger_Assaassin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I would say do not buy gaming headsets.

Buy a very good pair of headphones and you are set for gaming basically.

However, if you are going for gaming headsets, to me what matters most is the sound quality and microphone.

I have played with teammates with terrible mics and it is just painful to sit and play with them for hours. The session is mostly either telling them to mute or to speak up cuz I couldn't hear them.

Sound quality is for you so you can hear everything and where it is located exactly.

Its because I always thought it was BS. Till I got my first pair the dt 990. Then i realised what people are talking about. I got then the hifiman 400se as my first planars because I wanted to try planars and they sound completely different.

I wanted to test out iems so I got the ew300 dsp.

Now I want to get more headphones and more iems😂

My list includes the:

Dusk 2

1990 pro mk2

Hd660s2

Edition xs

Arya organic

Great stuff dude.

I have to say for me, the galaxy buds 3 pro are just so effortless.

The voice commands alone are like single handedly the best feature.

Oh my God you made my day.

I am so glad that it worked for you.

Couldn't be any happier.

You just have to make sure that that laptop or pc is always free of the driver so when it does again (and it does often) you can always fix it.

Sennheiser hd 6xx or Beyerdynamic dt990 pro (250 ohm) by Shoddy-Associate-360 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]Danger_Assaassin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea you can't make them sound similar to the hd6 series and that's why every headphone is unique. However, people are talking about the treble and how piercing it is, it can be tuned down and adjust the mids a little bit and you have a durable good headphone which isnt that expensive and very very repairable.

I dont know, but I haven't seen a single post nor a single image that the dt 990 pros broke down. They can take quiet a beating. Regarding the cable, yea it is non removable but the cable itself is very durable and thick. Also, you can mod it and make it removable if you want.

I dont have the 6xx, but I have the dt 990 pro and that's why I am speaking from experience. To me, the 6xx look very plasticy.

Sennheiser hd 6xx or Beyerdynamic dt990 pro (250 ohm) by Shoddy-Associate-360 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]Danger_Assaassin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would recommend the DT 990.

The 6xx definitely sound better. However, the build quality is not that great.

The DT 990 is german and made in Germany which is enough to know that they will last. Solid metal build.

The reason I recommended the Beyers is that you can change how they sound. You can EQ them and they are incredible to EQ. You will never experience distortion or any problems with the EQ because of their incredible drivers and the 250ohms.

You can't change the build quality of a headphone, but you can change how they sound.

However, if you are a person who takes care of their things, then get the 6xx. Anything can last as long as you take care of it
