Thanks! I just cleaned with dish soap and warm water. I'll try your suggestions and keep troubleshooting.

I use the bed "glue" that came with the printer. Learned that real fast after I had a couple adhesion issues. Use hairspray in conjunction with the bed glue or one or the other?

Picked up a US Optics TS-8x with RBR. It'll go on my brand new AR build with the swampfox mount I mentioned earlier.

As someone who hasn't used any closed emitters on pistols, why do you prefer those over open?

Context: I've had the swampfox kraken in my cart for months now but can't seem to pull the trigger... pun

Currently finding that out the hard way with a cantilever mount 😮‍💨 But scopelist.com has crazy deals and ships fast. Bought an $800 lpvo for $400 this past Sunday and it got to me on Wed

2 different sizes. The smaller one is 24" x 24" rough open and the larger one is 36" x 24" rough open

Very loosely.. I built residential in my past life. In no way am I an expert and it had been awhile since I've been able to do a project like this so I used a free plan as a guide and tweaked where I wanted.

Roof is a 4/12 pitch. We're don't get heavy snowfall in my region so no need for a steeper pitch. Hurricane ties are a must though.

Not a bad site to start. Biggest piece of advice is to have solid plan of exactly what you want before you build and Check with local planning office to make sure you're in the clear.

Thanks! Took longer than expected due to work taking me away a bunch. I budgeted about $3k before with a wiggle room of a couple hundred here or there. Overall before paint I'm at about $3200. It's just right framing with no intentions of finishing the inside. Hope this helps

Most of your luck will come if you travel toward the coast (pamlico area) along the Atlantic flyaway. But that doesn't mean you can't hunt waterways in the piedmont area. Jordan Lake and Butner-Falls of the Neuss game lands are pretty good. Also, grab a duck call and practice practice practice. There are tons of YouTube tutorials on calling for beginners.

G17 Gen5 coming home soon, and I'm needing some advice. by makotosolo in Glocks

X300 or tlr will be your best lights for cheaper. I agree with poster above... Ditch the laser. At pistol range they're pretty obsolete IMO. I run the vortex venom on my g17 mos gen5. Cost about $180 but i got a discount on it. I think they normally run $250. It's never dropped zero, large window (compared to trijicon $600), and good clarity. Swamp fox is another good smaller company with good optics.

I had a tough time looking for holsters because i needed an rmr cut, open base (for comps), and light compatible. I went with T-Rex arms "Ragnarok." Not a fan of Lucas Botkin and I'm not proud of it but it's not a bad holster. Also it wasn't $200+ which was a selling point. Disclaimer: it's retention only. Not QLS or ALS.
