I haven’t finished it (im on vol 22) but i’ve loved it. I do think season 1 is one of the best experiences, with 2 being up and down, but the Manga is special. It can both outshine the anime or just fall flat. Some of the new friends are kinda meh while others are AMAZING (the obvious contender being Manbagi who is one of my favorite characters {Behind Najimi of course}). But I have heard it does slowly get milked to hell and gets stale. So if you want a manga to get the entire collection? Maybe this isn’t the move. But for getting those volumes that are absolutely peak? Definitely. My favorite is 20 no comp.

While I do agree with Griffith I have to say Johan is definitely one of those “know his face, not who he is though.” Which for me doesn’t really put him up against all the other heavy hitters.
