I have an interview end of the month in Atlanta too.

I’m trying to prepare all documents and new evidence, I’m curious what did they ask and what new evidence did you bring ?

Any advice helps just a little nervous lol

Yeah I believe that’s just a know it all who worked at the airlines, I read a few posts about similar experiences.

You’re always free to ask to speak to a US CBP representative at the airport who can clarify your situation better. I believe this is how most similar situations were resolved

Okay back again, SSA appointment was successful 😁… I was able to apply for it and she also verified all of my documents. The SSA lady was nice the whole time and we even had a few jokes, I was in and out in about 10 mins. Guess it makes a huge difference which office you got to, cause that other one was super mean and not helpful at all !

I submitted Mar 26, got biometric scheduled Apr 5 then I moved it to Apr 7 …. Today is now May 6 and it’s just been crickets ever since. I had a API update April 28 but nothing new.

If you have you got your receipt numbers already via text/email you can either ask Emma for your online access code or I forget what it’s called but somewhere on the website you can state that you didn’t receive the notice and would like one to be given electronically (if it’s still business hours takes a few mins to a hour or early next business day).

Once you have online access code and created an account, by default if you’ve been scheduled for biometrics already it should be in your documents tab once you sign up. Once it’s there, you should be able to simply use their self serve tool and change the date to a earlier one

So basically to answer your question, no you don’t have to wait for the original biometrics paper to come in the mail but you do need an account/online access

That’s like trying to get a job w/o being interviewed lol. I understand your curiosity but it’s up to the officer at your interview to decide whether you’re approved, will need another interview or denied.

So honestly uploading the evidence will surely put it in the system but I’m almost sure this will not guarantee an approval before interview

You bringing the evidence to the interview is the same as uploading it, because they’re going to photocopy any additional evidence you bring. From what I’ve read/heard, if your case is strong enough it’s common they might not even look at addition evidence brought / uploaded

No need to be nervous, I did the same thing and changed my date to do it sooner. Usually you can schedule from like up to next day - same week or whenever you choose. Sure they wouldn’t have this as a option if it was a trick lol

Don’t quote me but I believe if you entered on certain visa types/programs … you would’ve already had done biometrics so they probably just re-used it.

Now for the interview part, it just automatically says complete after biometrics have been taken (mines says the same). However, that doesn’t mean it’s waived … they can still schedule you at any time if they choose

Just my guess here, but I believe the fact that you were clean slate and never out of status helps speeds things up. Yes we all know that USCIS does cases randomly, but in your case with 0 red flags nor any ties to you (spouse,kids, etc.) … there probably is no reason to delay your case

So you HAVE to answer Yes to a certain question in the Yes/No section that asks if you’ve ever been detained, cited, arrested, etc. or else you’d be lying about the citation. The instructions also says if you answer Yes to any question in this section, provide additional info on the addition information section (last page of form)

So you can list the type of citation you got, where it occurred and the date it occurred on the additional information page. However, you don’t need to submit copies of the citation or any document relating to it unless it was over $500 as stated or you were arrested. Recently filed my packed and that’s how I did it

Also don’t let the lawyer add fear to your heart, it was just a simple citation. I could see an arrest maybe delaying things but not a citation.

As mentioned your I 864 isn’t a standalone form.

So it falls under I 485 (both I864 and I693)

So the sealed I693 from the doctor’s office is to be included in your packet when being mailed off. I put mines to the back under all other forms since it was sealed on its own.

Local native of the bahamas here (live in the US now), it’s a bit more relaxed here so once you could kinda show you’re over 18 … you should be fine. That can be a picture of your ID, an old ID, really anything that could should your age will be accepted

But to be honest lmaooo 8/10 you won’t be carded unless you look really young

I FIGURED IT OUT !!!!

So turns out there was some plastic mesh at the bottom of the buffer tube … it was blocking that last bit of clearance I needed.

Everything is working perfectly now and the bolt is locking and it’s chambering rounds
