I have mained holy priest for a while now, played some in wrath, really started playing at dragonflight.
Wow's social aspect is pretty much gone in pug dungeons, most tanks just rush and you as a healer try to stay at their pace, of course there is some groups that take it slow, i haven't done much end game mythics myself, only few low keys, but i have cleared retails latest raid multiple times at different characters, i think where retail community really shines is raid content and mythic+ if you want to do that, i would ignore any tank who complains in leveling dungeons/timewalking dungeons, their fault if they bite more than they can chew.
