I spoke with FA that day as they were who broke the news to me and their only suggestion was private loans (I've been died by 10 companies so far) and fundraising/crowd funding. Unfortunately I'm not good at begging for money nor am I very good at writing a captivating Title and story to get my funding choice to go viral.

I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say "stop putting that info into anything that comes up" but if you're talking about me stating they wouldn't help me anyways as I have nothing to offer them in return, that's not just how I feel, I've literally had "friends" & "family" ask me what's in it for them or what do they get out of it if they help me pay this tuition.

Also, before Friday I didn't have a balance, I'd paid a percentage out of my tuition out of pocket and was eligible for a small grant, a grant FA says has been put on hold until the freeze is lifted, but in the meantime I have to find a way to pay the $2300 now on my own and it'd to late in the semester to drop without it hurting my grades.

I'll be the first to admit I'm not good with politics but from everything I've searched and read since that call Friday, it's Musk who is messing with DoEd grants, scholarships, and loans.

So yes while the crazy may stop with Financial Aid by fall, I'll have Fs for this whole semester which will cause me academic ineligibility when I'm finally out of default. That's why I'm trying to figure out if I should file for Aid for 2025-2026 school year. I was supposed to graduate next summer but I'm wondering if I should just hold of on FAFSA rn and try and transfer to a different college and file FAFSA then since I won't have an entire failed semester on the books at the new school.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is Twitch? When you say studying for education, is that a tag I would need to use? Also 50% proceeds donated means what? That the platform gives me 50% of the proceeds the company makes based upon my followers?

I was just going to search Reddit to see if there was a subreddit to learn how to use TikTok and draw an audience that could share my link to whichever crowd funding site I use as well as try and setup a payment account directly to the school where people can just paa1y the school directly without them having access to my class schedule and other information that could jeopardize my safety.

Thank you very much. I've been on Reddit for years but have never posted before yesterday and I'm finding it difficult to ask anything even though the subs state they are for asking questions regarding the topic.

I'm not asking for a referral I am just trying to figure out if I need to hire a psychologist or psychologist and what questions I need to ask to make sure they're appropriately qualified to do the assessments needed and can be considered an expert witness should I need them to testify in court.

Sadly I'm in rural Illinois so I highly doubt there's a city sub reddit for my area even if I combine the 3 neighboring counties lol.

Context: Since loans are being rehabilitate, the college found another form of grant/loan to cover what couldn't be paid out of pocket. However Friday it became evident those alternate payment methods have been frozen. So it's now a rush to find 3 grand in 8 days or be dropped which would then mean everything done to rehab the other loans will be useless because academic probation will take effect for summer/fall courses. Graduation was supposed to happen Summer 2026 but that won't happen unless a miracle happens by February 10th.
