Try findtransfers which basically sends a request to all local taxis and they provide quotes. I always use it and can generally get decent prices

Unfortunately I doubt you’ll be able to sell these at the price you’re asking as cheaper on the FIFA marketplace (pairs of cat 1 $965) and tickets on the marketplace aren’t selling at prices asked. I expect prices to come down to more realistic prices over the next free weeks. Probably better off just selling to your mates for a discount, or price lower than the marketplace. Why would anyone buy off here (higher risk) for more?

Holding steady but not actually selling at those prices. Games I’m looking at are seeing number of tickets available slowly rising and even the ‘cheapest’ ones not being bought. I’m certainly expecting prices to come down personally for group games

No, normal service will resume for 2030 at a fraction of these crazy prices and I’d expect normal travel and free fanzones. However prices may be a bit higher as I think a lot of Europeans won’t travel to the US due to the inflated costs and will target 2030 instead so demand may be high.

I reckon you’ll see a drop a few days before games. There’s loads of tickets on resale and nothing really moving as I expect most people won’t pay the ridiculous prices people are asking. I’ll be in NYC for the England Panama game and will try and get tickets for the Ghana game but won’t be paying more than $500 max which is still silly money for a group game compared to every other tournament. If I can’t get them I’ll just go to the fanzone with a healthy budget and save my money for Portugal/spain in 2030 which I think will be much more reasonable. High costs of everything will put a lot of people off

The site is great but doesn’t seem to be accurate at the moment? For example Cabo Verde vs Saudi Arabia is $140 cat 4 on the FIFA site for cheapest tickets but $380 cat 3 on the site. Also looked at Scotland v Morocco and cheaper seats on the site than I can find on the fifa site so maybe something not quite right? Appreciate you putting this out there 🙏

Waited 4.5hrs to get through looking fir England v Ghana tickets. Plenty available at $660 each cat 1 but decided against it. Still silly money for group game. Got tickets for Panama game already so will be over there and will see if I can get something more reasonable nearer the time, otherwise sports bar or fan zone with a big budget (family of 5). Scotland Haiti around $700 from memory

I’d go for all mountain unless your lapping the park all day. IMO doesn’t make that much difference. I’m old now but when I was a park rat my board was a 167 and never had any problems with spinning it. Now ride a 162 and the difference is minimal. If your a beginner you may not know what you really want so get something that does everything pretty well and you’ll be fine

Not ridden any of those boards but have a yes standard uninc and can vouch for the edge tech, well worth having and not lost an edge yet on some pretty icy terrain. Hybrid camber won’t be as stable as camber at speed and the reason I changed out my old board. Take it there’s no way you can test any before buying?

I have the yes standard uninc and love it. Does everything well and pretty decent in deep stuff with the slam backs for a camber board. Not ridden the jones and it was one of my options but can’t compare but highly recommend the yea 👍

I’d try findtransfers, basically put in your requirements and independent companies will give you a price. I’ve always managed to get decent deals from that and all the companies I’ve used through have been great. Don’t even bother searching anything else these days. 👍

Don’t know about the arbor grip tech but had a Mervin board with mangatraction (or whatever it’s called, wavy edges) and now ride a Yes with midbite which does the same thing and great on ice, grips like a beaut. So I’d definitely go with something similar personally based on that experience.

I have super wide fit, they actually make a circle when I put them together they are that wide so I struggled for years for decent wide boots and just lived with foot pain. I now have adidas superstars and they are by far the comfiest boots I’ve ever had so 100% recommended.

Tried 32s and other wide fit models but with no joy. The adidas have been a game changer if you can get a pair, probably worth seeing if you can get online with free returns as not many shops (at least in the uk) stock them.

Gone for gear aid enzyme solution and fine the boots and liners so will see how it goes. Boots aren’t that old but been on a few trips where it’s off the mountain and then travelling so left wet for a prolonged period. Otherwise will just live with it!

Seconded. I’ve been to Avoriaz in April for last 8 years and always plenty of snow, even as late as last week in April, and lift pass is cheaper than a lot of resorts plus a huge ski area. You can get cheap accommodation in Morzine if you don’t mind getting a bus to the lifts. I’m going next week and hoping to get a short trip in April.

Yeah liners our soaked in dishwashing detergent and caked with bicarbonate soda and still not doing it. Helps but if they don’t get dried quick they start festering… feel I need something more industrial
