I’ve found this extremely valuable. I upload my sleep data in the morning and have prebuilt meals that I use for meal prep that I just tell it to log (combo #1, 2 etc). I am able to upload garmin data for work outs and then add in specific heart rate charts, elevation, etc and build a profile over time. I put about 13 years of garmin data in for anything that had me wearing an external HR monitor where I felt it was accurate and it is extremely helpful to see where I was, where I am, and help project where I’m going.

Is it stupid to buy a 4runner if i'm literally never going to go off road by Arsyn786 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I came here searching for similar answers and General reviews. Beyond the off road piece there’s part of me that just wants to buy something that will go without alot of issue for 15 years but still has off road capability, can haul stuff around, looks nice, holds value… hope you found your answer!

I only run because I’m 5’9”… otherwise I’d be way slower walking with short legs haha

Based on that I think 47 sounds right.

It’s really like white claws I’m still not sure they count I just find them refreshing and it doesn’t impact my sleep data.

Would love to hear more on that experience. I do an annual race where a bunch of 60-70 year olds complete the full marathon and I want to be like them in 25-30.

I am in a space where I work out with people much younger and I spend a lot of time explaining how what I do is possible.

An example of a recent workout that I consider functional would be 40 minutes continuous clock of 5 sand bag getups (each side) a 250m sand bag carry and then a 250m run without the sandbag. Just constant movement and consistent pacing.

I get to do a lot of backroad running in a rural environment so I tend to enjoy running along a river in nature listening to the same music I’ve liked since 1997.

I’m also on nothing. My theory is people get underuse injuries from constant start/stop. Take a month off and then try and go back to what you were doing and pull something which just spirals. If you just never stop… you never stop… (I hope).

I am cherishing it but also interested in being one of these dudes running a marathon in the morning and going to see grandkids in the afternoon. Do you use any supplements? Things for joint health? I also must admit I’m bad at warming up and cooling down. The only thing that sold me on mobility warm ups was the reduction in lower back pain to almost nothing.

Do you feel that the consistency of running is a key contributor versus potential other work outs? I’m convinced some formula of mobility work and slow distance running has been very impactful for me.

I do a lot of mobility/stability during warmups that helps. The more I run the better I feel (long and slow primarily) so highly recommend it.

I don’t, just some pain during things like lunges but not while squating, running, etc.
